Rates have been declining over the last 10 years but Thomas Exchange, who I often use, are selling Euros at 1.09 and buying at 1.1344

We had our holiday in Scotland and Northumberland this year due to Brexit uncertainty, and the UK tourist industry seems to be booming, with hotels fully booked and charging what I consider to be above-average prices, and restaurants full.

We will give Europe a miss for the next couple of years and support the UK economy instead.

Then you know, since you read it before you voted, that Article 50 provides for the treaties ceasing to apply and leaving with no withdrawal agreement.

I do, and you know that it also provides for indefinite period of extension to the process, if agreed by all parties, but you keep missing that part out. Given that the official leave campaign literature not only stated that we would not leave without a deal, it ridiculed the idea, it is fair to say that there is no mandate for leaving without a deal on 31st October, but there is a mandate for extending Article 50, if an extension can be agreed.

I voted remain, but would now vote leave if we got a deal - preferably EEA. As a minimum EFTA membership.

Every few weeks I go on this thread to see if it's improved and come out of it disappointed that people actually BELIEVE that that the whole LEAVE campaign can be brought down to a lunchtime argument over McDonald's or KFC.

What about when you go for the bargain bucket and suddenly realise that you have not only agreed to have lunch there today, tomorrow, next week, next year next century ad infinitum. You have no choice, thats it, you have to have it every day NO MATTER WHAT.

And when the bargain bucket cost doubles, triples, quadruples and increases exponentially by 100x and you are still contracted to get your daily bargain bucket.

The quantity of the chicken content gets less and less and the quality goes downhill but there's nothing you can do about it.

You find out that are subsidising feeding every indigent in the city who work less and less because you're paying for their own bargain bucket every day

Suddenly the freedom of choice at McDs today seems great because if you don't like it, well there's always Burger King, Domino's, Subway and thousands of others you can eat in afterwards because you have a choice of what and where you eat.

Love the way you criticise the use of analogy to reduce the arguments, then extend the use of the very analogy you criticised.

If I may, I would like to add. We have a VIP discount card for KFC, we have the ability to influence the content and the cost of the Bargain Bucket, the KFC VIP discount card also gives you good discounts at many other fast food retailers around the world, and there is no Chlorine or hormones in the chicken. It also allows us to end VIP discount membership any time we like, but, there is the last months membership fees to be paid and if you want to retain some of the benefits of membership, then there are some obligations. KFC is always negotiating with, Burger King and Dominos etc. to be able to offer VIP discount members discounts there too. McDonalds thinks it can get discounts too, and it might do eventually, but KFC has negotiated a clause in all its discounts that means no one can have a bigger discount than KFC VIP discount members.

Well, it's 2 pence above its historical low only 2 years ago.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a rally this week in cable. This to me stinks of a herd mentality and a few corporate treasury departments closing out their positions because they're too scared of holding too much sterling.

My business is all but dead at the moment . . . U.K. Customers have gone, EU customers remain . . . . But their prices haven't gone down . . . Virtually everything I use is imported. This country has very little manufacturing left, and if it does, we don't make the ,aterials to manufacture with. So in real terms the prices for EU customers are about the same, for U.K. Customers, they've gone up. Many of my suppliers have put their prices up around 20% in the last year or two.

Most of our food and drink and fuel is imported . . . . Christmas my arse you Tory twunt.
