Sample size poll of 1003 people. Does anyone really take these sort of polls with tiny sample sizes seriously? Not surprised the Mail on Sunday(not Daily Mail) bigging up their survey though from Survation, they are a remain paper after all.
You also have to wonder how that question of a second referendum was phrased. I wonder how many who said they wanted one were stupid enough to believe that one of the options would be to go back to that nice cosy place they were in before June 2016 and pretend it never happened.
That won't be one of the options!

I cant imagine what it is, that scares the shit out of Brextremists whenever a 2nd referendum is mentioned.

I think it's basic really. The likes of Pastafarian, GT49er, PPF, and their type are not used to being "right". They're used to their opinions, all their life being, quite rightly ridiculed. Due to a bizarre set of circumstances their unpleasant and uneducated views seemed justified and a tiny majority seemed to be in agreement with them. It made them feel okay for holding the views they do. It seemed to legitimise their insular, bigoted view of foreigners and the wider world in general. They couldn't believe their luck.
However, now we are seeing nobody in the U.K. is going to come out of this well, and Brexit is looking likely to be a disaster on every level they feel embarrassed. They have had "their Brexit" swiped away from beneath their noses, it remains their dream only in name. If a second referendum were held it could also take that, their last vestige, away from them. They'd be back to being considered ranting idiots, the pub bore, the bigoted loudmouths. And by goodness does it terrify them!

Deadline set for May to come up with better offer. May really is being led by the nose on this. Not looking good for any decent deal for the UK.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-42217735

it must irk you that negotiations are progressing, it must be spun negative somehow. the bill is apparently agreed, the citizens rights apparently agreed, some more discussion on Ireland needed. they'll get their written assurance that we wont be a imposing a hard border, because it has never been the intent of the UK to do so. its up to the EU how they want the border into Ireland to be controlled, and they cant propose anything about that until they move on to trade.

A mess in other words.

Your comment certainly is. I'm guessing - just guessing, mind - that you're a remoaner?

Nope. The EU is a Neo liberal construct that values German bankers over Greek workers and for that reason I have no love for it. However your post suggested that just leaving was sufficient. No vision, no plan, no nothing. Just leaving as an end to its self. That in my Brexit experience is a view held by a particular subsection of leavers.

Man of the people Rees Mogg again saying Brexit must be delivered to the poorest parts of the UK(those that voted for it the most).
Why are some remainers so intent in denying them their democratic vote?

Oddly enough if you can get him to put you on ignore, you can then carry on commenting and pointing out his constant stupidity but you don’t get his endless drivel responses in return as he cant see what he is supposed to be arguing about or replying to. Win win……what a gift he is.

Undemocratc loons who either think they know what's best for the 'thicky' poor people or are doing very nicely at the moment and don't want to rock the boat?

You would assume someone who has at least two accounts would make one of them vaguely articulate and sensible .... :lolol: Poor quality troll desperate to find a group to belong to and handing out crticisms that usally apply more to him .. ten fold. I admire your patient approach with him, very charitable.

The offer on the table will anger the DUP and Scotland.

“The BBC's political editor said Mr Lamberts said the UK was prepared to accept that Northern Ireland may remain in the EU's customs union and single market in all but name. But, she stressed, the BBC has not yet seen the draft document nor has it yet been signed off.”

Excellent news. Norway model it is then.

So PM's office confirmed this morning "The Prime Minister has been clear that the UK is leaving the EU as a whole, and the territorial and economic integrity of the UK will be protected" yet now we hear "MEPs were told by the chief Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier, that Theresa May had conceded after days of intense talks that the province would be treated as a special case with “continued regulatory alignment” between the north and south of the island after Brexit."

Lies and disinformation from the Tories - an UTTER shambles.

There is also a report saying the UK have given the EU pretty much what they wanted re the rights of EU citizens as well. So, in summary, the the government has caved in on all three initial Brexit items.

No - common sense. How on earth can you discuss how a border is managed if you haven't agreed WHAT you are managing it against / for ?

Norway model here we come.

But I thought if the ECJ had any role post Brexit then it wasn't a real Brexit and there'd be rioting on the streets of Cleethorpes?
