Must admit I didn't realise how complicated undoing EU law was going to be. Anyway Monarch May has a plan...

Seems there are so-called "Henry VIII clauses" in the Great Repeal Bill, these will give ministers and civil servants sweeping authority to comb through the vast EU legislative soup and decide which bits to keep, which to amend, and which to repeal in their entirety. Crucially, ministers can wave the decisions through without recourse to the House of Commons.

Tories at it again. Just tweeted Gina Miller, you can't trust this lot...

World holds its breath as nick tweets gina

I don't think Gina Miller has a twitter account. Couldn't find it last time I looked.

The EU Draft response published yesterday seems fairly clear that there is no room for special deals or unique treatment for specific sectors such as finance. Yet still Theresa May and her crew talk about a special free trade deal as though there's a chance it might be on the cards.

Not only have the EU appeared to rule it out, but they also have to consider the terms they've agreed with other international trade partners who will be up in arms if the UK gets special treatment, not to mention members of the 27 who would otherwise have gained had the UK been forced to adopt WTO rules.

Does anyone in the Tory government actually know how the EU works?

And so do the labour party. We are getting no special deals I knew that from day one. That's not how the EU works. Leave means leave.

You selectively quoted me there.

What I also said was that were was no evidence of any Brexiter regret.

my point was that the end part of your statement was implying that more people agreed with it now since the referendum, i was disagreeing with that part

i made it obvious that i had cut some of the quote off with my ....., i wasn't commenting on the rest of your quote, i just wanted to paste the relevant bit.

It's just starting to filter through the conjecture mentioned earlier over The Great Repeal Bill and The EEA Act and whether parliament will have to vote on it. Even The Daily Express have picked up on this now - http://www.express.co.uk/news/polit...ingle-Market-vote-MPs-House-of-Commons-Brexit

Will this be something they can just invoke?

or will it have to be a vote in Parliament?

I mean it would help Daniel out

How do you mean?

I think you are going to get all you wanted, however I think the worry is David Davis not actually knowing what he is doing.

He talks about a Norway style deal, that means we still have to abide to those four principles.

As the main conservative leader of the Leave campaign, I don't....

Blimey, I didn't realise that you were that important.

(Lightly educated and typo-prone I've rarely marched with the grammar police but it does make me laugh when people drone on about their love for the glories of England and then reveal that they don't give a stuff for its glorious language.)

There was no definition of what you voted for and there won't be for another 2 years so how can you feel ripped off. Nobody knows what you voted for and you still don't

Edit: Just realised we can go back to having pints of beer in a bottle and reconvert all the petrol pumps to Gallons....what freedom !!!

Best bit of Scaremongering yet .

Love this piece from the Standard .

I guess we all start booking our Eurostar and coach trips now !!

Ryanair, whose biggest nation for operations is Britain, campaigned strenuously for a Remain vote in the EU Referendum. On the day Article 50 was triggered, it warned that the UK could be left without any flights to/from Europe from March 2019 unless talks for a bilateral deal are concluded swiftly. The airline's marketing director, Kenny Jacobs, said: “It's become worrying that the UK Government seems to have no plan B to maintain Britain's liberalised air links with Europe.
