Oh dear, back for more are you :lolol:

*sigh* It's not stating the 11.7 rise or the 7 per cent fall or any other change were specifically caused by any one factor. But it is confirming the UK's overall economic performance was much better than previously thought and entirely in line with other G7 nations ... which must be baffling/dissapointing for those who have been pushing the moronic 'blame everthing on Brexit' line.

Why do you think Bry Nylon described you as a 'smug self satisfied prick' worthy of a permanent ban for being a 'stirring ****'?

NSC"s very own Christian Horner/Eddie Howe ...
Can you not make your point without being so combative?

People are very patient with you on here, despite your rudeness and trolling.

You’re rather fortunate to be allowed back here and the mods have clearly given you another chance, despite you circumventing your ban.

I doubt you’ll ever be respected on here but if you want to continue to be tolerated perhaps you could engage in a more civil fashion.

Did we establish who this troll actually was?

It appears some people have made up their minds that it is the same long running poster who has never posted anything about the Albion, football or any other subject on the board across any account for many many years. Almost like a beginner's guide to trolling :dunce:

And then there's.....

So, I think we've probably established without much doubt that JCFG and Wokeworrier are one and the same.

And now that we have, two things. Firstly, while it's amusingly incompetent, it has little to do with Brexit. So @WATFORD zero there's literally no need to mention it again.

And @Wokeworrier here's a repost of the response your last ever post on that old account got, as you may have missed it during your short ban. It came, not from me, but from someone who got so fed up with sorting out the playground politics he's taken himself off the moderating team and NSC. I can say without fear of contradiction that the whole moderating team would rather have his sensible, considered posts and incredibly quick one liners back than ever read another one of your posts again. Yet, for now, here you are exercising your freedom of speech by linking to exactly the same biased report you did on your old account

But as requested, I haven't mentioned it since

And personally I'm still not convinced it isn't a Remoaner's satire account set up to make Brexit supporters look stupid, maybe another from @Pretty Plnk Fairy

Since I was summoned, I'd just like to say what a sterling job this thread is doing of putting most sane people off politics. It's like a special sub-section of the Bear Pit, a roped off corner of the playground.

Carry on to your hearts' content if it makes you all happy but don't suppose any of us will bother refereeing it much,

I can't imagine who 'summoned' you :lolol:

But all the while multiple accounts are allowed to be set up and run on NSC for years with the sole intent of trolling other posters whilst contributing absolutely nothing in any area of the Board, I'm more than happy to 'referee' it

You make a good point.

It's always going to be an uphill struggle to earn respect when you were fooled by a bus.

Good to see the cavalry arriving to try and rescue poor floundering Mr Zero last night and one of you even screaming for a policeman!

Once again, well done everyone :lolol:

Back on topic, very pleasing to see the UK signing a bespoke deal rejoining Horizon showing its possible to collaborate and have access to important research programmes minus all that supra national state/ever closer union bolleaux 👍

If it's possible to collaborate today, why wasn't it possible to collaborate for the three and a half years between leaving the EU and now?

Why was it necessary to leave the Horizon programme at all? Why couldn't we just have stayed in it?

If Horizon is so good for us to rejoin it, then our absence from it for 3.5 years, and the costs of exit from it, and the costs of re-entry to it, are unequivocal failures of Brexit. None of it needed to happen, and your dressing it up as some kind of confirmation of Brexit just doesn't cut it.

At the end of 2020, we did agreed the Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA), setting out the terms of post-Brexit relations, which included a commitment that the UK would rejoin Horizon Europe, and the details of association. Unfortunately the EU refused to ratify this, instead using it as a bargaining chip over NI.

Depending on your pov, team UK or team EU, you can blame either side, the truth probably rests somewhere in the middle.

As I said, we now have the benefits of membership of the prestigious research programmes without all that supra national state/ever closer union nonsense to worry about ... its called taking back control.

Utter bollocks ….. again if nothing else you are at least consistent.

There is only one winner when it comes to the Northern Ireland protocol and it’s not the UK government. Sunak has Been handed his arse on a plate. We needEd to be involved with Horizon, without it our science community would have been hamstrung.

The brass neck of the EU to flex their muscles ! And after all we had done for them during our exit negotiations. These continentals have no gratitude.

As for taking back control, my understanding of collaboration is that you give up control and adopt a more collegiate approach. But good for you for sticking to your slogans.

Talking of Brexit slogans, am I correct in thinking that the 'agreed by us' but not 'ratified by the EU' TCA was slightly less than 'oven ready'?

Both firmly in the team EU camp then ... quelle surprise.

So throughout what has undoubtedly been the greatest few weeks in the history of the Albion, what contributions did you make to the Brighton Fans Forum ?,

https://nortr3nixy.nimpr.uk/search/764228/

A few hundred posts of constant trolling on this thread and not a single thing about the team you purport to support and who's website you constantly troll. Completely coincidentally the exact same idiocy as that account JC Footy Genius trolled for years before becoming too embarrassing even for him to continue.

And back on topic

That'll be the same Horizon deal that we used to make half a billion out of when we were in the EU, but have now negotiated to get for £2B in the hope of getting something similar back ?

The stand-off has bemused UK researchers because pre-Brexit the UK received around £500m more than the £1.5bn a year it put in. For Horizon the government has agreed to pay approximately £2bn a year and given the quality of British science, the research community believes it would get at least the same amount back.

Another brilliant Brexit deal :dunce:

one does one’s best.

Indeed. Batting for team UK is always an away fixture on this thread.

In other news, I know the recent positive UK economic data has caused much distress amongst many pro EU Brexit thread regulars but I detected a vain hope that future economic adjustments might see us sink to the bottom once more ...

And to be crystal clear I am not claiming we are doing brilliantly just showing our economy is roughly on a par with G7 nations and the EU which shows any Brexit impact is negligible at best ... contrary to the recieved 'wisdom' of Brexit economic armaggedon continually pedalled ( to be fair, mainly by one not very bright individual) on this thread.

As has been readily acknowledged, lies/exaggerations were told by both Remain and Leave lobbies prior to the Referendum.

That's hardly surprising as the arguments of both sides were primarily articulated by Tories and the whole disgraceful episode was largely intended to bring an end to tory in fighting.

The Leave argument won by telling the more attractive outrageous lies/promises and a significant number of voters were gulled into believing them, while Remainers were stunned by the ineptitude of the Remain campaign and the following diminution of our country in so many ways.

Since then, the dwindling number of Leave die hards have retrospectively changed their rhetoric from 'things will be tangibly much better immediately after we leave' to 'the Remain argument that the country would be economically destroyed is a lie, so it must all be worth it', and 'we have made our decision so no matter how damaging it becomes we must stick with it'. It's a cunning rhetorical morph for the gullible, but doesn't change the awfulness of Brexit fallout...

Can you please provide a few examples of your lot acknowledging lies/exaggerations told by the Remain campaign and provide a few quotes when anyone on here said 'things will be immediately better after we leave'?

Only yesterday you posted some shitty article from a magazine that is the brainchild of Toby Young and JRM and pushed it as some non-partisan balance on the state of Brexit.

Now you're asking others to provide balance? Seriously, why would anyone bother appeasing a swivel eyed dick like you?
