But Johnson wanted to introduce all these checks to 'Take Back Control', 'Protect Our Borders' and 'Get Brexit Done', JRM then decided that they would be 'an act of self harm' and then we kept putting put them off (four times to date) and now we are trying to reduce them to the absolute minimum possible ?

What with this and the various unsuccessful attempts at a Northern Ireland Protocol/Windsor Agreement/Northern Ireland Backstop, It's almost as if they didn't have any understanding whatsoever of what the 'Brexit' was that they were putting forward to be voted on in a referendum

The longest running farce in British history only lasted 16 years, just thank god that we've moved on from Brexit now

I think you will find that the vast majority are now rather embarrassed and would rather you didn't keep highlighting their support of Brexit, so it can be lost in their posting history and of the very few that are left beyond that, they will happily tell you how they've 'moved on'

That'll be very similar to the way the Palace coach driver 'moved on', hoping some poor sods left behind will clear up the great piles of shit they left everywhere and are now claiming were nothing to do with them

Shane Brennan of the Cold Chain Federation – which represents businesses in the chilled goods supply chain – said: “Overall, exporting products such as meat and dairy from the EU into the UK will be more expensive, slower and more complicated. “We have to expect that many EU-based food exporters will take one look at these proposals and decide to cease supplying UK customers.

The introduction of the post-Brexit inspections had previously been delayed four times to avoid disrupting business. They will now begin in October but will not be fully implemented until late 2024.
