West is BEST
The gammony Brexiteers voices are getting quieter and quieter as they realise not only were they conned but that they are largely to blame for the mess the U.K. is currently in.

They don’t understand the full implications of what they’ve done and probably never will. Too thick. But they know they’ve dropped a bollock. And now they can’t afford to eat.

We’ll be back in the single market within 5 years.

They’ve burnt their own town, and the only thing they can think of is to try and burn more.

There’s a chant in that, I reckon.

Bank of England experts outline how Brexit destroyed the UK economy

Brexit was never about making things better. It was about taking back our control.

If I had had a stroke and I was being driven to hospital by an ambulance driver, I would want to take the wheel. Wouldn't you? If not, you are guilty of talking this great ambulance down. Shame on you.

To be fair, they need say nothing more. They won, and they have now taken back control

Gods country fortnightly

I don't think it will happen yet, but every day we fall further and further behind our competitors, the pressure will increase.

The poorest half of France is now 25% richer than the poorest half of Britain.

Compassion for the conned, contempt for the conman. The liars need to be held to account for their crimes.

It is an echo chamber, but then Brexit is and was a giant echo chamber. But all the echoes were false, and all the project fear has proved real. So threads like this are now echoing the reality so I have a bit of sympathy that really, as a voter for this you want something somewhere that gives that validation for what you voted for and yet none is coming, all the promises were lies, all the benefits were restrictions. Sit there with your fingers in your ears until next summer, I’m sure it will be all fine by then…

They might even be able to pick up the echoes through sitting there with their fingers in their ears.
The notion of severely reducing trade with your nearest neighbours was always barking. It's the less affluent that are suffering, but it's extending up the pay/asset scales.

Yeah, there has been pretty much no good news of Brexit benefits.

And no prospect of there being any. No indications at all.

So the country needs to step back, air and echo the problems, and encourage visionary! politicians to step up and fix the issues.
