it has been thrown around by the usual suspects on youtube and even been spoken about on our current affairs programmes over here...ABC only but it would appear that , after checking on politfact , they have been given 600k US per year over the last 6 years... by the NHI national health institute to examine viruses in bats......i guess they are never going to admit to manipulating viruses. Why would they pay them anything...?? they had a run away economy ffs... they sent a navy ship to Melbourne in january to take $ 200 million worth ppe , baby formula and tasmanian salmon back to china....its a mad old world brother...
the rest is all readily available on line....
so, no comment about illegal entry into the country ........................thought not

Did you honestly think Brexit is going to stop illegal immigrants and refugees?
Of course it won’t, ever.
By definition if they're illegally entering the country then it has nothing to do with the EU anyway as thanks to Freedom of Movement people can legally enter the UK under an EU passport as they please (except in extremely specific circumstances). If anything Brexit will massively increase illegal immigration by closing off legal entry routes.
Errr ... thanks to freedom of movement a person can travel all the way across the EU, with very few if any checks from most of its external borders arrive in a camp in France or elsewhere, then try to illegally gain entrance to the UK. (eg there were 30,000 attempts to enter the UK illegally from northern France in 2017)
On a completely unrelated but far more interesting topic, I wonder if any of the Europhile Brexit thread regulars would like to critique the EU's response to the pandemic thus far and the longer-term likely implications/fall out. A few entirely random links to get the discussion going ...

I would do, but I'd be more interested in getting a discussion going about how your hero Johnson's rather ironically named Conservative and Unionist Party, have done more towards achieving a United Ireland in 9 months than Irish republicans have managed in the last 300+ years
No takers? Imagine my surprise ..

I agree with you about the EU and Covid*. The EU has been absolutely shocking on Covid. If this had been an invasion of Cybermen, under the EU's leadership, we'd all be wearing silver boots and shiney helmets by now.
*Who would ever have thunk it?
(Still don't want to leave the EU though )

Sorry, I don't know who the 'usual suspects' are. If the 'rest' is readily available online then throw a dog a bone and let me know what you're reading. I'm not exactly sure what it is you are saying. It's sounding very much like unproven conspiracy theories but happy to be proved wrong.

Re freedom of movement you should note that due to the problems caused in Holland by Albanian criminals they have submitted a request to the EU back in 2019 to suspend visa free travel for Albanian nationals.
https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/ne...vel-for-albanians-on-the-netherlands-request/
Plenty of questions come to mind on this regarding Schengen, national sovereignty etc, but of course those who want to buy the world a coke will no doubt continue to put their heads in the sand.
How the hell do you know? They are not even in the UK yet, so how have you managed to process their claims?
Sound like you have made an assumption to suit your narrative.
The government calls them asylum seekers. 63% of Iranians are granted asylum, but 19% of Albanians aren’t.

Asylum seeker's is that why they do a runner when they 'arrive' and who exactly are the 'experts '

The Border Force personnel you accuse of bringing them to shore, and the Home Office who decide if they get sent back.
