Hi Luke, was it not you that stated that your pension would be knackered because of Brexit, firstly you have paid very little in, secondly you have well over 40 years to go and plenty will change. This country did Ok pre EU and will be Ok again.Will the country be prosperous? I hope so. This may well be the case in the long term. But right now, for someone hunting for a job after leaving university like myself, this result brings a lot of uncertainty. There is a very high chance of a sort term economic downfall, but let's hope this isn't the case. Economic forecasters are notorious for getting things wrong.
This result has really highlighted the difference from the younger and older generations. Polar opposite differences in voting preferences, made for a very exciting and close finish. I'd like to apologise for my outburst, there's no point in crying over spilt milk. It was a late night where we all witnessed history. Let's hope the country got it right, as it's my generation that'll live with this decision for the majority of their lives.
I'm thankful this is over. Both campaigns have been full of lies and incompetence.
