'Protect and Survive' for the 21st Century (Only this time instead of protecting us from Russian Nuclear weapons, we are trying to protect ourselves from our own stupidity )

Normally the first duty of a Government is to protect and safeguard it's people.

However this current government's duty is to plough on with the ideological march of deregulation, undertaken under the banner of democracy.

But, DR, it’s not me who doesn’t believe, I’m a born again Brexiteer, I BELIEVE!!!!
Since the saintly Bonking Boris has seized the reigns of power, with his stunning Election win, I’ve seen the light,
I now realise I only have to BELIEVE, and cast out ALL negativity and the sunlit uplands of Brexit are mine, with all the unicorns, stardust, and pretty pink fairies that I could wish for, thrown in.
Roll on Halloween, when my country will be free of the oppressive yoke of European servitude, and we will be able to have a pound worth less than the Euro and the Dollar.
What a time to be alive.

Even you, a rabid right winger, must realise that Nazi views should not be allowed in normal society.

He's not put any Nazi views in any posts I've seen. You're just a pathetic prat though.

Oh I believe brother ! More money for schools too... on top the official line of " We are investing more money in education than ever before " ….. Mostly in newspaper adverts to try to get replacements for those burnt out by the long hours and the impossible targets combined with the cut in SEN specialists !

A cave is exactly where we'll all be living if 'we' don't get a control on climate change.

Well It's lucky that we now have a government made up of people who have always backed the need to get control over climate change.

I'm sure they are planning the changes to our environmental policies for when they are out from the constraints of the EU already ???

That video will go straight into Ppf's 'special' collection. I guess he will be otherwise engaged and given the rubbish he types with two hands I wouldn't expect any posts from him tonight

Bloody Worthing!
Would a no deal Brexit be the end of this terrible uncertainty? Would we at least know where we stand? Would we have finally broken free of the shackles of the EU? Is it the Brexiteer's wet dream?

Brief summary from The Guardian (Note: by all means contest the assertions but please do better than simply saying something along the lines of 'they would say that'.)

No. One of the biggest appeals about a no-deal Brexit for voters who support it is the idea of “getting it over with”, absorbing whatever chaos takes place and moving on to other priorities. But this is a fantasy. The UK could not trade perpetually on WTO terms and would need to make a permanent trade deal with the EU – involving just the same issues as before, such as a divorce payment, and arrangements for the Irish border. The main difference is that this would all need to happen as quickly as possible, without the buffer of a transition period running to the end of 2020.

I do, and you know that it also provides for indefinite period of extension to the process, if agreed by all parties, but you keep missing that part out. Given that the official leave campaign literature not only stated that we would not leave without a deal, it ridiculed the idea, it is fair to say that there is no mandate for leaving without a deal on 31st October, but there is a mandate for extending Article 50, if an extension can be agreed.

I only don’t bother mentioning a further extension because currently the likelihood of another extension to negotiations beyond oct 31,is as we stand about zero to zilch.(things might change in the future).

If you believe that is a campaign promise in the run up to the referendum you are dafter than I took you for.

Can you read? It is a quote from Chuka Umunna. It does show Johnson saying under no circumstances.
Johnson tells lies - all the time.
