The world evolves, people will travel less when the species is almost wiped out, until then........
But it really won’t kick in your, or your children’s lifetime. Whilst things may change over the next couple of hundred years the speed of technological advancement will keep the worst of any effects at bay. That is not to say a tipping point may or may not have been reached. This planet evolves, the human species may join the dinosaurs one day, or maybe should be culled by war or famine by 50% perhaps? Who should choose who dies, the climate campaigners?
Damnable Rogue - It isn't the fact we may be leaving that troubles me; it is the lies that were peddled to get us to this point and the wilful ignorance in the cult of belief that has bought into those lies.... and you are one of the most ardent (if least cognisant) cheerleaders!

The original plan was never to leave without a deal in place. In fact, the 'leave' side made it clear what a bad idea that was.
So we are leaving but, as 65% of the country hope, it shouldn't be without a deal.
And I suspect that it won't be.
You speak of others delusion and denial but your entries on here have a frothing mouth seemingly attached to them. It seems to be the only thread you engage in (except when one on proper nawty stuff comes up).

Another example of Johnson in action. One could speculate on whether he is
a) genuinely stupid and simply doesn't understand the complexities of internation trade protocols
b) badly briefed
c) an out and out liar
There's no reason of course that he can't be all 3. But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and restrict it to just the one: c).
From The Guardian today:
When Boris Johnson is in Wales this afternoon, he is likely to be asked what will happen to Welsh farmers if a no deal Brexit leads to the EU imposing tariffs on meat imports.
According to this report from the Shropshire Star, when Johnson was asked about this during the Tory leadership campaign last month, he claimed that in practice there would be no tariffs. The report says:
Mr Johnson said he did not believe it remotely likely that the EU would want to impose import tariffs on British goods if a deal could not be reached.
“Obviously we have got to prepare for every scenario possible, but I don’t think there is any chance that the EU would want to start putting tariffs on trade with Britain again, something we have not done since the Napoleonic days of continental Europe,” he said.
“People need to be confident and courageous, I believe there is plenty of time to come to a trading arrangement that benefits both Britain and the EU.
“I think we have got to be a bit less timid and a lot less defeatist in our dealings with the EU.”
]ohnson is unlikely to try using the same argument again - because it is not true. Under WTO trade rules, without a trade deal, the EU could not drop tariffs for meat imports from the UK without dropping them for everyone else.

Part of me hopes the Government go ahead with this £100m "No Deal preparedness" leaflet for every home. I reckon it will be the biggest boost for Remain we could have asked for, the disaster fetishists might get excited by it but I reckon millions of people might look at it and go "**** that".

Just doing some quick sums, we save £350m a week and there are roughly 60 million of us here in the UK, so the government can top us up to the tune of £6 each a week to help us with the price increases we will now have to " survive " ! Looks like a small cabal of well off loons are going to screw us over yet again, it's like we are back to the Dark Ages.

Since the saintly Bonking Boris has seized the reigns of power, with his stunning Election win, I’ve seen the light,
I now realise I only have to BELIEVE, and cast out ALL negativity and the sunlit uplands of Brexit are mine, with all the unicorns, stardust, and pretty pink fairies that I could wish for, thrown in.
Roll on Halloween, when my country will be free of the oppressive yoke of European servitude, and we will be able to have a pound worth less than the Euro and the Dollar.
