The brexiteers will walk through fire to vote, The remainers will be too busy posting pictures of cute cats on Facebook.[emoji4]

Its very easy to confuse 'not SHOUTING and shrieking hysterically' with 'not caring passionately about your beliefs', isn't it?

Whatever happens tonight, I have realised politics is very confusing.
I have voted tory all my voting life and find myself weeping with joy at Dennis Skinner declaring for leave and find myself agreeing with the anti EU Tony Benn quotes. Cameron now makes me sick with rage. The only politician I have not changed my mind about is Gordon Brown.

Exactly. I believe in the UK not some faceless wonders Un elected that make decisions from far away.

Brussels isn't far away. You can get there in a coule of hours.

1/9 odds on remain....... 7/1 Brexet.......currently.

By faceless wonders I presume you mean commissioners ?

Genuinely the most difficult decision I have had to make in a polling booth. And for once, living in Tunbridge Wells my vote will actually count, which it doesn't normally !! I respect people who have found it so easy to decide, for me, it was very tough. Voted leave in the end, but I still wasn't sure, with the pencil in my hand, which box to cross. As I said to the polling clerk, whatever the result, we'll muddle through, she replied, "yes, we're British" !! My fear is that it will be 51/49 or 52/48 and there'll be half the country deeply unhappy. It will be difficult to bring the country together again. the lies and scaremongering on both sides have diminished the political class in my eyes. If leaving the EU will lead to the economic armageddon predicted by the establishment, a referendum should never have been offered. Surely the height of irresponsibility by the PM. I'm sure he wants to go down in history, i wonder if this will be his equivalent of Blair's Iraq war ?

Well said. It will all be forgotten when England win the Euros.

Do you mean the waves of shouting heard from Remain at the Wembley debate the other day... that shouting and personal attacks will linger long in the minds of undecided voters... Brits don't like 'shouty' people.

Very true. The Labour vote hasn't appeared at all here, and before Mr Smuggins asks how I know, the local mosques tell them how & when.

The post in question was accusing inners of being Jihadi Chowdreys friends, so I think your random smear accusation is more applicable to yourself, and although I could, I won't resort to the childish insults you seem to revel in, I'll just put it down to your quite obvious lack of intelligence

That post was a parody of leavers being Farage's friends. You wont revel in childish insults and you go on to say lack of intelligence? Are you stupid or being ironic. I'll assume the former as irony seems beyond your pay grade.

A genuine plea for respect and tolerance - if another person says or implies that I am voting Leave out of selfishness, not caring about future generations, I am going to scream! I am voting Leave precisely because I DO care about future generations (I have two children myself). As an relatively affluent middle aged man, I have everything to gain from a Remain result. Property prices will continue to soar. My pension, invested as it is in global multinationals that do so well out of the EU, will continue to increase. So, I have lots to gain if we stay. But I am voting Leave because I believe that it's wrong to turn our backs on representative democracy in pursuit of a Utopian dream, however noble that is, and it is future generations that will pay the terrible price when it all blows up in their face.

If you don't think the economy will blow up in our face (you think it will perform well if we remain), how will a supposed lack of representative democracy blow up in our face?
