Well mostly I believe. I'm sure you have witnessed leavers posts regarding a 2nd ref here on NSC and elsewhere.
Yes, certainly a lot of them (but not all) are completely against a 2nd referendum. I've posted before that I assume that's mostly because they think they might lose if there's another referendum.

Since day 1. They have stoked the parliament fiasco as it works in their favour.
Question for any remainer what happens and what do we get out of the 39B we put in every year
Er.. no.
Your statement demands specifics. When has the EU 'played' the UK?

For 2nd part of your previous post. No wars in the EU for a start.
What is it that you want by leaving a large trading bloc?

The regional statistics for how the money is distributed in the U.K. are easily available online. I have posted them numerous times on here so am not going to do so again. Easy to find for yourself. You can also see how it is distributed around the rest of the EU helping to make us stronger as a collective, the best way to be.
And also the money we put into admin, salaries and expenses are readily available.

It will come down to whether you believe that money is being well spent. I think it is, on the whole.

I'm going to have a go.

Boris, Nige, JRM etc: Who wants to come for a French 3 course dinner?
Leave Voters : Count me in
B : Friday at 8
L : we'll be there

Friday at 8

B : do you want boiled tripe or toast and marmite?
L : I don't like those. I thought it was French?
B : I believe I said french inspired! Don't the French eat offal?
L : Well I don't like either, but they seem like such nice boys that it must be someone else's fault

Then good on you if you think it's a sensible approach

I’m not an arch NSC Brexiteer or Remainer, but did vote Remain on economic grounds. I still believe believe in our membership of the EU or a Customs Union.

C4 News are just showing an interview with Ian Duncan Smith today. I can’t stand the snide bloke, never have, long before Brexit. His posh boy, very right wing views are so unrepresentative of the man on the street. A lightweight figure to me, who I’m sure thinks he’s some kind of constitutional elder statesman, a legend in his own lunchtime. The Tory party really does have a wide range of views, and his is the shit end.

Mmm. I think it's more like

R - Would you like to come over for dinner, say 8.30?

L - That would be lovely, thanks. See you then.

R - Hi, come in. We had a little chat on whether you'd want something spicy, or maybe something traditional, but we couldn't agree, so we haven't actually made you anything.

L- I just wanted dinner

R- Supposing it's something you don't like- or makes you ill

L- Don't care. One day I'll feel much better

R- Supposing your kids don't like it

L- They'll get over it.

My ex boss, a Serb, sent me this on FB regarding Brexit.

What do we want?
Don't know!
When do we want it?
Later!

There is nothing cynical about wanting to win a general election and Labour obviously want a very different type of Leave than the Conservatives.

Surely you massively approve of our Parliament taking control over decisions ?

0.57 in, " We could leave on the 22nd of May and start to build our brighter future... " despite EVERY report to the contrary that says Brexit will cost £m's and upwards off our economy.

Twice now I have watched the news as the PM is going to make a statement.
Each time I expected her to say" I have had enough of this shit. I took the poison chalice when I became PM and am fed up with it all.
Good luck to whoever is unfortunate to take over"

Sadly, she didn't :(

I remember that very well. With William Haig, two joke candidates, selected by the faithful. As a floating voter, I thought them both cringeworthy choices. Blair and Campbell must’ve been high-fiving.

William Hague would look a complete liberal compared to todays average Tory, mind you he has kept well out of all this infighting.

Yes, when she said " I'm on your side " I almost felt sick, I mean, I want an economy that works for everyone.... but INCLUDING ME !!!!

Bless her, poor old Mrs May, always backing the wrong horse at the wrong time in the wrong place. In 20 years time we might be able to look back on this and laugh but unfortunately we seem to be stuck with her whatever.
