Gordon Taylor £2m, the highest paid union leader on the planet. Just forced out over that.

He's been coining it for years, £38,000 pounds A WEEK ! How do you spend that ?

I’m a Remainer, but with an understanding of why hoardes of people, especially in Wales and north of the Home Counties voted Brexit. I never slag off Brexiteers on NSC or elsewhere, why get personal and spiteful?

But today I felt sad and embarrassed by the UK, when the heads of Germany and Ireland came out at 5.30 for their joint press conference. It hit home that the UK is going down a very lonely path. Away from the rhetoric of a few Gallic bigmouths, the UK has so many friends in Europe ... in Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Hungary, etc. Now we’re throwing much of that goodwill away.

My best hope now is that May and Corbyn ignore the blinkered in both their parties, who are trying to push them into irreconcilable positions, to agree a course that’s almost as we were/are. By burying GE manoeuvering just for 10 minutes.

True enough, we have fought two World Wars in order to free Europe from tyranny and yet we have decided to turn our backs and walk away ?

they’ll be plenty of goodwill post Brexit. Part of problem is the end of the world thinking. Reality is the world still wants to come here, do business with etc and that won’t change. We’re rich and that buys a lot of goodwill in the world!

Oh come on, bit overly dramatic and that’s before you get into debating the historical accuracy of such a statement.

The problem is that people forget why these unions were forged in the first place. To prevent Europe going to war again. We tear these unions down at great risk.

Newsnight just then showed an alarming link between the successful far right party in the Bundestag and Putin’s secret police, seeking to disrupt Germany.

Trump has also openly loved the potential weakening of the EU.

I mentioned it once before, that anything that pisses Trump and Putin off (e.g. European unity), is inherently a good thing in my opinion.

There is the potential for great disruption.

I wonder whether all the little Englanders were true to their name and voted for the potential break of the Union ?

I'd imagine Gibraltar is next on their list 'cos they knew what they were voting for.

It’s more the Little Scotlanders isn’t it that will end the Union? About time though, the UK is fractured and out dated. All over the world and Europe especially larger states have devolved into more smaller, more ethnically concentrated countries so why not here? It may even help England forge a new identity, independent from Celtic belligerence and their romantic quest for ‘freedom’.

Your a mixed up bowl of alphabetti, but I agree. He didn't insult him, just mistook his location, hence my remark.I know you won't understand, but perhaps ask an adult later.

I like you TP.

You write utter nonsense on this forum and nobody listens to you as you're universally acknowledged as being a grade A mentalist. A harmless nutter. Like the bloke who sits in the pub with a pint of coke, staring into space all day, smelling of piss but not bothering anyone.

But posts like this not only continue the incomprehensible, bollocks speaking legend that is you. They make people feel better about themselves. It's a good thing.

This isn't an insult btw (before anyone starts). That post is genius in how amazingly YOU it is.

People really won’t rest until England is a totally separated, backward little country, alone after deliberately cutting itself off from the world. What a genuinely sad, sad image. I hope it never comes to that.

Why stop there? Let's divide the USA into separate states, England into different counties, Spain, France, Italy into their different regions. Then we can all fight each other for our bit of the pie instead of trying to work together. Great idea.

We could invade Kent. I've never liked them.

**** me. That's one of the most stupid things I've ever read on here.

You are likening us leaving Europe to the break up of the USSR ?

Knowing many people who grew up under communism they are looking at this country in utter disbelief.

Think you’ve got off road there. No, just why shouldn’t the UK be 4 completely independent of each their countries? Self determination and all that. Under a federal state called the EU of course. But separate countries nonetheless

What on Earth are you blithering on about? You basically made up a story and had a little argument with yourself! Bizarre but funny all the same. No idea what my post had to do with mind...

What on Earth are you equally blithering on about? Why shouldn’t Scotland have self autonomy? Wales? N.Ireland? Why does the break up of the UK, a Union so antiquated now it serves no purpose, translate into (only) England becoming backward and cut off? Why hasn’t this happened to all the other states in Europe? France seems to do ok as do smaller countries like Denmark and they’ve comparable populations to England and Scotland.

You keep telling yourself that sweet cheeks. I'm sure it makes you feel better.

Meanwhile, everyone else is shaking their heads at the absolute idiocy of what you wrote.

"No idea what my post had to do with mind...."

Me neither. Whatever you use to think can hardly be described as a mind, based on the divisive, nationalistic, backward thinking nonsense that you posted.

Not understanding my analogies just proves the point.
