Whilst I suspect that Corbyn can see some benefit to his Party if the Tories take us out with no deal, I don't think this news is connected. It is software, commercially available to anyone. If he had given the platform for free, it would be different.

i suspected this. so you interpreted "pressure on food prices" as an announcement of "massive price hikes". or read someone else that did.

i dont get why people are willing this, or accepting media fibs when for months/years being telling us to stop believing the fibs.

its amusing that this is taken seriously and not as example of how ridiculous it sounds, that some possible* border checks will have similar impact to a war.

*quite sure i read EU have drafted contingency planning/regulations to suspend border checks, permit flights, travel visas various other areas of control for 6-9 months. im sure we can manage the same.

As I said yesterday him voting for Brexit wasn't really the point I was making with reference to the lyrics of 'Panic'. He always was a tortured soul, so it doesn't surprise me he voted for Brexit anyway.

Get real! No media fibs here. The retailers have spotted a massive opportunity to raise prices and boost profits without having to look like the bad guys. They said prices would rise - yep, sure, and I bet they'll make sure they do!

Anyway, that's me off for now. Too much vitriol and sneering on this thread - that's why I stopped regularly posting ages ago. Bothering to post today was a temporary aberration!

I remember when this got published back in 2017 on the subject of the food supply chain saying it could be 'unprecedented for an advanced economy outside of wartime' - it all just got dismissed as #projectfear and #experts etc
