I don't want to spend the rest of my lifePanic on the streets of London
Panic on the streets of Birmingham
I wonder to myself
Could life ever be sane again?
The Leeds side-streets that you slip down
I wonder to myself
Hopes may rise on the Grasmere
But honey pie, you're not safe here
So you run down
To the safety of the town
But there's panic on the streets of Carlisle
Dublin, Dundee, Humberside
I wonder to myself......................

Putin must be looking on at the UK falling apart and thinking, this BREXIT IS GOOD
They announced it yesterday - a joint letter signed by the CEOs of Sainsbury's, M& and LIDL among other major retailers.
its amusing that this is taken seriously and not as example of how ridiculous it sounds, that some possible* border checks will have similar impact to a war.
*quite sure i read EU have drafted contingency planning/regulations to suspend border checks, permit flights, travel visas various other areas of control for 6-9 months. im sure we can manage the same.
Fantasy stuff, Fact Check did not support Remain assertions on rising costs when they were made in the referendum....

Economic assessment on the exit of CAP are positive, and from a socialist perspective a perfect example where subsidies for rich landowners can be stopped to the benefit of the poor.

Great news unless you are a rich landowner.....even you aren’t going to defend CAP are you?

Agreed but it could be worse. Medicines will be prioritised over food which seems sensible. It's a joke, but the fact we are harming ourselves and putting ourselves in the situation where there will almost certainly be shortages, especially of fresh food, for literally no worthwhile reason is ridiculous.
A living deity of which there is no doubt, but a strange point of reference for you on Brexit.......

It is the WILL of the people and that MUST be RESPECTED.It is but we're a country which is not at war which has taken the active choice to be in a position where we have to prioritise medicines over food, when we are right now in a position where there is plenty of both. Just let the utter madness of that sink in,

Get real! No media fibs here. The retailers have spotted a massive opportunity to raise prices and boost profits without having to look like the bad guys. They said prices would rise - yep, sure, and I bet they'll make sure they do!i suspected this. so you interpreted "pressure on food prices" as an announcement of "massive price hikes". or read someone else that did.
i dont get why people are willing this, or accepting media fibs when for months/years being telling us to stop believing the fibs.
