Bloody Worthing!
We have about 15m people with less than £100 is savings, a lot of people are going to get hurt and it won't be the Tory toffs that are clambering for no deal

Yes indeed: I also think that our fellow citizens who are in food poverty will welcome the combination of fall in sterling which when combined with the imposition of tariff on EU food imports will add to the price of food in our supermarkets. I predict a boom in food banks following a no-deal Brexit. Perhaps JRM and his ERG pals have shares in them? Mrs May might go to her grave with the words "no deal is better than a bad deal' ringing in her ears.

Any thoughts on the pro EU establishment, including agents Mandelson, Osbourne and toffs like Lord Barker and the Rothschilds relationship with Putin’s mate Oleg Deripaska?

He is sanctioned in the US, he’s never sanctioned in U.K. or EU?

You are like a Pavlovian dog banging out unfounded anti Brexit/Trump media tropes, in fairness to Trump Deripaska is sanctioned by the US.

Desperate stuff trying to dig up articles that are 11 years old

The reality here and now, is Putin is loving Brexit, and he's got you owned

its amusing that this is taken seriously and not as example of how ridiculous it sounds, that some possible* border checks will have similar impact to a war.

*quite sure i read EU have drafted contingency planning/regulations to suspend border checks, permit flights, travel visas various other areas of control for 6-9 months. im sure we can manage the same.

I agree with you partly here but is not being able to afford food the same as running out? It's a given that basic food prices are going to rise and with the extremely high imports of fresh food in the hungry gap a no deal brexit (indeed any Brexit) is going to really harm some people and they will be making choices betweern who in their family gets to eat (already happening). This is a reality that Brexiters are going to have to own.

Fantasy stuff, Fact Check did not support Remain assertions on rising costs when they were made in the referendum....

https://www.channel4.com/news/factcheck/factcheck-eu-raise-prices

Economic assessment on the exit of CAP are positive, and from a socialist perspective a perfect example where subsidies for rich landowners can be stopped to the benefit of the poor.

https://iea.org.uk/blog/abolish-the-cap-let-food-prices-tumble

Great news unless you are a rich landowner.....even you aren’t going to defend CAP are you?

Putin must be looking on at the UK falling apart and thinking, this BREXIT IS GOOD
With Putin's preferred *No deal* outcome the British Army will (a) be busy with the Civil Contingencies Act (b) be under supply line pressure.

Absolutely perfect time to invade either (a) Ukraine or (b) the Baltic states.

With the planned distraction for the US in Venezuela, along with his orange puppet under instruction to pull the US out of Nato, I fear the worst for the former USSR countries in April.

I see, does that mean every post on this thread referring to Russian influence on the Brexit vote is also a joke? I wish you had told me first. What else do you remainers post on here thats a joke?

It would be good to know so no time is lost dismantling the fake news.

I'd rather opt for a bit argo from a few aging EDL skinheads reacting to a controlled Brexit...

After not knowing form one day to the next where this is headed I am now preparing for the worst type of crash out No Deal Brexit.

I am stockpiling tinned foods, soups, pasta, dried fruits and other long life foodstuffs as well as trying to get some extra freezer space. Also painkillers and other basic medicines, hygiene products and other toiletries.

Also gerry cans of petrol.

I am so disappointed that it is 2019 in the 6th wealthiest nation on earth and I am doing this. Even more disappointed that it was voted for. It's really very upsetting.

I am in total agreement that the Brexit vote was an utter cock up, and that the needs of the people would be better served staying within the EU, and that possibly the UK will suffer serious economic damage. But let’s be honest, you are a wet liberal snowflake drama queen of the highest order? 😄

I dont think its old news, Lord Barker was only on the R4 today programme yesterday morning stating that Deripaska has stepped back from a position of influence in Rusal and EN+ but he is still holding plenty of share capital.

The nub of this issue is the overlapping of city of London interests (money) with Russian interests concerning corporate access to City of London money markets (money) and the interests of the political/economic establishment (money).

Mandelson as EU trade commissioner reduced aluminium tariffs not long after meeting Deripaska, his PR firm continues to be employed by his firms. Osbourne received a political Donation from one of his firms, Lord Barker (now on the boards of deripaska firms) has been in the US lobbying to have sanctions lifted but has declined a parliamentary committee invitation on this affair.

So, there is your stinking, corrupt money loving, open to Russian influence pro EU establishment, telling the electorate what is in our interests.......what a wonderfully naive world you must livebin.

The poor are already suffering because of Brexit, its no secret a lot of food prices are 10-15% up since 2016, plus many foods have shrunk in size. The likes of JRM are just pretending they cares, the reality he is a disaster capitalist and can't wait to exploit others misery

If no deal happens its basically shooting yourselves in a head, imposing trade sanctions on ourselves, weakening our security, threatening the very existence of the UK and weakening our place in the world.

All Brexiteers can say now is we just need to believe more

If 'no deal' does occur, Will, you let WATFORD zero and ManOfSussex share some of your supplies?

If yes may I suggest serving them some humble pie .... :D

No humble pie for me thanks, I'll be eating and drinking as much cheese and red wine on the beach in the spring sunshine that I can carry out of M&S once it gets smashed up and looted as no deal Anarchy In The UK plays out. It's going to be just like the film '28 Days Later' but without the infected. If I can't beat no deal anarchists like you and Westdene I might as well join you, eh? Though I suppose there'd be more chance of you two being safely tucked up at home behind locked doors and windows, excitably point scoring on the internet about it actually happening, in between frantically trying to dial 999 in a panic because Waitrose is closed though................

(Obviously I'd be home before the 9pm martial law curfew though as it can get a bit chilly on the beach in April at nighttime and I wouldn't want to catch a cold - Half a gram of Lemsip will have a street value of £100 by then.)

But there won't be any food to put in them................

......and as the major supermarkets have announced they will impose a massive price hike if we leave the EU (with no deal) nobody would be able to afford to donate any food (if there was any) anyway.
