May currently getting taken apart

Interesting she is also keeping any potential blame on parliament not passing the bill

She gets taken apart time after time, we are going to be worse off and could be badly worse off yet, still, she ploughs on into the storm slumped over the rudder.

This is just weird. Is the objective really to change MP's minds or is she up to something else?

No point in a TV debate at this stage, unless we get a vote.

Corbyn should decline and make the whole charade look even more like the farce it is.

Without a disaster capitalist from the ERG and a true remainer there is little point

Imagine being May, making an absolute shitshow of 'the impossible job' hounded by almost everybody across Europe and yet willing to debate with the Leader of the Opposition.

There has never been a politician who'd accept this deal and yet Terry must have bitten their hand off.

I cant see the point of a debate. It isn't a PARTY political issue. Nor do the public have any vote.

What will it show?. Although both voted to remain, none are offering that choice. Both do not want a "No deal". Its just another political punch and judy show - despite being the most important issue this country has faced in decades

We truly have the worst politicians in history.

I think that's what's she trying to do though - to try and turn into one in the hope MP's on her own side will back her deal as a result. I read over the weekend that they'd been a hardening of opinions against her deal from Labour MP's since a debate was muted apparently, for example.

What an absolute farce.

Correct, and Teresa May has some front hasn't she? Her version of democracy appears to be:

Jun 2017: You can have a vote but you can't have a leader's television debate.
Dec 2018: You can have a leader's television debate but you can't have a vote.

She is fcking ludicrous.

when someone told me of this i thought it was joke. it still is, just not very funny. who on earth thinks this a good idea? a remainer reluctantly taking us through leave debating against a leaver reluctantly holding a remain position, trying to debate a 500 page plus document that neither really want?

have all the other parties insisted they must be involved yet?

For things to work, she needs a massive shift in her own party plus some Labour votes. Then what? The DUP will desert and we're in minority government territory....

Its a sh1t show in every direction manufactured by the Tory party.

And to put the cherry on top, a row over which channel. May wants it on the Beeb and Jeezer wants ITV.

Get Guru Murphy on the case, won't leave a stone unturned...

I can't see it working either, but it's the only possible method behind the madness I can think of for her wanting this stupid, pointless debate.
