Of course you don't, and I never suggested you did! But, even as a 'snowflake remoaner' :)smile:) you can't seriously believe that the huge remain factions in Westminster and Whitehall have done their damdest to hamper the government's negotiations* at every twist and turn?

'Hamper the government's negotiations' - you've probably heard them dress this up in expressions like 'holding the government to account'......you know, a bit like Gina Miller claiming she didn't actually want to stop Brexit..........................

Remains factions of all the parties (other that UKIP ) have tried to hamper or destroy Brexit, every step of the way. No one could argue with that. Unable to accept the vote result.

Our friends are even pitying us now.

“The former Swedish prime minister Carl Bildt tweeted on Monday that Britain "used to be a nation providing leadership to the world - now, it can't even provide leadership to itself"”

To those who think this increases the chance of no deal, perhaps think about another general election as the Tories can’t work together. Red Corbyn in and soft or no Brexit secured

Corbyn is a brexitter.
As for the Sweedish twit... *cough* world cup *cough* ???
Anyway....I can't actually work out your 'message'...your point is....?

Great, our chosen MEPs. 10 out of 800ish votes, and they're all part of different voting blocs.

Can I ask which EU voting bloc you support and which of our MEPs are a member of it? Do you prefer European People's party or Party of European Socialists?

If the EU didn't give us a rebate their position would become politically untenable when the British public found out how much we are paying in compared to Germany and France, it's there to balance out what they receive from CAP. This is politics, they don't give a rebate from the goodness in their hearts!

Would be good if we could unplug twitter permanantly. I bloody hate it.

Twitter is exactly what you make it. You choose who you follow.

I like reading what Professor Brian Cox, and Sir David Attenborough have to say about Brexit. Try it or just show ignorance by hating an internet medium, and yet use NSC.

For an early general election to happen two-thirds of Mp's have to vote for it or there needs to be a vote of no confidence. I doubt Tory Turkeys would vote for Xmas in either scenario.

Here we go again. Opinion (and a minority one at that) being put forward as fact. Sadly it's that same attitude among a vast majority of MPs (Lords and Commons alike), not to mention the very powerful Whitehall mandarins, that has made negotiating Brexit so difficult - the government has it's hands tied in the negotiations, not by the EU, but by the British remainers.
Don't blame May (and even more so don't blame the millions who voted leave) - the blame lies full square at the feet of those that have done their best to hamper our negotiators and sabotage the Brexit process from day one.

Of course it’s opinion. That’s how debate works. Hamper our negotiators ? No just not go for the hard Brexit which cuts off our nose to spite our face. The Whitehall mandarins ? There is a perfectly good reason why remainers are digging their heels in.......you’ll need to work that one out ( a clue ——————- the Brexit option even in its most diluted form - and thats what you’ll get is shite)

Now I know you're on a wind up. There are 751 MEPs of which the UK have 73.

This explains how the European Parliament works. It's not just MEPs but each head of state as well.

We could try a Dictatorial Democracy where only those able to read and write and speak at least one language are allowed to vote.

Hmmm, how about excluding those citizens with inherited assets of more than 1m............even better if they could be excluded from standing as MPs.

James O'Brien is unashamably and aggressively anti-Tory, pro-Remain and left wing.

I like this clip best, where Sky's snide bully Kay Burley tried to crush him, but he destroyed her.

(NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS, BY THE WAY).

She's a "nasty piece of work" to keep the Boris theme going.

A friend of mine used to be a producer on Sky News. Let's just say that nobody he worked with had a very high opinion of her. Other presenters included.

OK I now see what you mean. :lolol: But building an edifice using Gina Miller as the foundations doesn't make it real. John Major had his '********' undermining his position (anti EU as it happens). I see no evidence of much opposition to May, even from Labour, let among her own party. To imagine you see a labarynthine conspiracy of treasonous proportions seems a little peyote-inspired to me. The reason the brexit bus is broke is because it was never roadworthy. It doesn't need the Man from Uncle, Department S and the A team to sabotage

trouble is there's no credible plan for exiting without a deal. we look forward to telling Mr Barnier we withdraw Article 50 and hope that's accepted gracefully and they dont try and put some riders on like joining the Euro etc.

Telling Mr Barnier we withdraw article 50 would also lead to a Tory implosion as well as much anger from many of the 17.4 million so in my view never going to happen.

Accelerating no deal preparations would be a sensible precaution.

Agree a long shot. But it’s a few steps closer after these two left. It’s a party that doesn’t act like one. Reminds me of the dying days of the Thatcher empire. But you’re right, they might be able to keep limping along. The longer that goes on the more their political brand gets trashed. Their choice

Wow, so because you might not get your way you're calling for the overthrow of the system.

We have a political class and associated establishment that have taken a great big shit on the democratic values of this country that they regularly extol. It seems like radical change cannot be delivered by the ballot box even when there is a clear result.

Desperate times mean desperate measures.

A sad indictment on the times we live in and what this country has become.

Agreed. However, these pages indicate that some people, unbelievably, actually think they can argue that it hasn't happened!

Corbyn moving, they won’t run on a hard Brexit agenda

They don't need to. If Corbyn changes his stance I will be pleased but I don't see it happening. He will have to do one of two things. He will either have to compromise over his old labour issues with the EU (unthinkable) in order to avoid a 'default' hard Brexit, or he will have to find some way of stopping Brexit (by election manifesto would be easiest, and if not that then a second referendum). I don't see any of this even beng coherently promised, let alone effectvely actioned if they get in.
