At some point you will have to accept the inevitable and stop pretending it won't happen.

 Aren’t the Labour Party saying they will stay in the customs union and common market, thereby proving that their historical economic incompetence is final being banished. Maybe. And the Lib Dem’s will have us back in. The Tories are split in multiple pieces. All good news.

Depends on which one of them you talk too .. or which day of the week it is. As you pointed out previously the Tories are mainly interested in self-preservation, reneging on Brexit commitments would lead to immediate implosion of the party.

Given her weak position and the fact there will be vote on the final deal I’d take any statements like this with a pinch of salt.

There is no way she or the (pro remain) Chancellor could go back on their statements/ manifesto commitments and retain any credibility plus Boris, Gove, Fox, Davis are standing behind her with a gun to her head, none of them would accept membership of the single market, customs union. Yes a vote where the options are accept the deal or crash out without one.

And you are being a bit dense. I was commenting solely on your post, and what it said. I'm bored now. Carry on arguing.

In spite of your heroic efforts I refuse to be tempted to say that Leave voters tend towards the obtuse. Good try though.

And so says our self-proclaimed champion of democracy. As it has for two years or more, the future of England appears to hinge on the internal machinations of the Conservative Party.

I’m not suggesting they will necessarily u-turn on their manifesto commitments in person . But surely you understand how parliament works and they need to get parliamentary approval to pass these commitments into action? Put simply whatever those people you list want can get defeated in parliament.

:lolol: remainers are so funny!

Shucks, you’re making me blush. I appreciate my humour is an aquired taste and not everyone gets it but it’s always nice to get compliments.

That wasn’t the referendum question, to leave the EU and anything else that the loonies want to leave. It may happen, it may not, I suspect it won’t and the momentum is going that way

I did. When was this announced?

Trump facts again

So despite JC providing the evidence we're leaving all three neither of you are prepared to admit you missed it ? You might not believe May but she has made it clear the plan is to leave all three.

The Labour Party haven't said that ..... provide citation please ?

Ah the usual reverting to (drunken?) abuse gambit. Says the wannabee class warrior who thinks the Home secretary lusts after him ... real world indeed :lolol:

Not really - I don't think I'm her type as I'm one of her constituents - We're on drugs and benefits according to her among other things - Plus as Home Secretary I'm sure it'd be prudent to use privileges available to such an office of state and do a DBS check on any potential suitor - You never know what one of them may find from the dim and distant past.....................

Speaking of being drunk though, you stick to copying and pasting articles from that Irish right wing drunk blogger you like aka Guido Fawkes site and The Daily Telegraph etc to promulgate your ideological views as the official NSC mouthpiece for Vote Leave/The Conservative & Unionist Party/Activate like a good little, short back and sides Tory boy.

I'm going to test out the ignore feature and stick you on mine on a trial basis with a view to a permanent move as you're just like the readers comments section of The Daily Mail, though less intelligible. I may extend this trial further, to others particularly if I suspect the username to be Tory, Brexit voting and public school.

(Congratulations on being the first onto my ignore list trial - I'm sure someone like yourself has long history of coming first though and is quite used to it. :lolol: )

Anyway, laters, Tory Boy. :bigwave:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...nk-is-said-to-mull-london-move-despite-brexit

Spain’s Alantra Partners SA is considering moving its headquarters from Madrid to London in a bet the U.K. capital will remain the center of European business and finance even after Brexit.

That's not right, surely?

I have absolutely no doubt a company specialising in merger and acquisition will want to be based in London. I’m sure there will be plenty of vultures circling over The City needing help with picking up companies at rock bottom prices. You go where the work is.

This. When an economy or market is in trouble there will always be organisations and individuals that profit from it. I see no difference why this should be any different just because it's Brexit thats causing the downturn.
Some people will become very rich from Brexit. Bob from Burnley will not be one of them.

Labour are almost as bad as the Tories on Brexit.

What doesn't change is the Brexit everyone was promised is undeliverable.

Almost? They are identical. Corbyn wants the same as the right wing Tories (and UKIP), just for different reasons. Neither will be getting my vote at the next election (if their position remains the same).
