A £51 Billion bill and continued large numbers of immigrant workers for the foreseeable future to help smooth over the British Economy post Brexit - Is this the price worth paying for Brexit that was perceived by some as worth paying or will something else have to pay if this was to happen - hell.

Could this price, if it happened, be the moment that the great, as yet undefined, wrath and fury rises up, the like of which has never been seen before and some - like the woman in the chip shop in Burnley on Sky News last month - say could be a civil war?

£51 Billion. Could we afford that and Trident renewal at Faslane in Scotland, a permanent member of our family of nations that is and always will be The United Kingdom, at the same time?

Hmm.. didn't see your post. Bit of an exaggeration I think. Unfortunately this entire debate seems to
consist of one side or another jumping on a piece of news in order to vindicate their prior view.

This whole debate has actually descended into a farcical Right V Left mud slinging competition, all the good arguments and reasoning are long gone :tantrum:

Don't know where this enlightening debate has got to now, but anyway...

To anyone who says the result was clear:

I think it was a bit of a throwaway joke to be honest but you make an interesting point. Are you saying you might not 'be happy with' that sort of cost? If not that much, what would you be happy with? What's the level of expenditure at which you as a Leaver says 'Bugger that, it's not worth that much'?

(If you're prepared to spend anything it takes then of course you have no argument with Studio 150 - that's all he was saying.)

Ok, time to answer your questions now.
I definitely will not be happy to pay that cost, a greedy assessment to prop up the EU imo.
As we have given notice that we are leaving and are STILL paying, then a nominal sum when we leave, i daresay in the meantime we will have to throw in many millions to bail outs, which will be no benefit to us once left.
Again you put up questions and then answer them yourself, and my answer then agrees with you or studio 150 in this case, well FYI NOTHING will persuade me to stay, your
"Bugger that, it's not worth that much'?" is like a lot of the Remain arguements, hypothetical and proberly not realistic....as i stated, let us wait and see, personally i don't think our Leaving cost will be astronomical.

He was of course asked that question sometime ago but in his usual way refused to answer what an upper limit was.

Edit - I see avoid giving a definitive answer on the amount again.

I wonder what his specialised subject on mastermind would be. I would go with not answering the question posed but answering my own question and telling myself Im right so I have no passes and get full marks.

Jeez, how do we know what the upper limit is, you expect answers to hypothetical questions......... i'll tell you what if you have the facts then tell me what the upper limit is.

Think the one thing that can be agreed on is Brexit is not about left v right, its not that simple and is different things to different people

Why don't you respond to my posts instead of going through a third person each time, do you need support.
I answer questions, you just do not like the answers.
Again, WHAT is the upper limit? how much? a link to how much? some facts on how much?......no avoiding.

Keeping to the same stupid response about not liking the answer when you answered a question but just not the question posed.

There is no point responding to you as your next get out will be that you dont comment on things that havent happened so thereby yet again avoiding giving a view.

Rather than dipping into the thread your time would be better spent keeping up with the news given that you seem to be the only person who had not seen any coverage of the Paris riots until earlier.

Maybe you should look for a different outlet than RT.

I occassionally look at RT.
The Paris riot i put up was published YESTERDAY, i am fully aware of the riots in Paris and other countries.
Thanks for your advice and actually responding to my post instead of playing through other posters that agree with you, like third party responding.

Just another point, all these questions that we do not know the answers to yet, i remember the same posturing by you and others before the Election, Referendum and USA president....... none went the way you were predicting, your banal questions, your lobbying etc. Perhaps you should change your "outlet" and find one that might predict the real outcome.

Yeah your right Brexit isn't but this thread certainly is, weirdly a few others on NSC are as well. You already know when you see a title of a thread vaguely political who will be agreeing or disagreeing with the content, well unless it's actually about football

Oh dear Studio, absolutely owned and buggered by Soulman. Not your day huh?..........:D

Probably why he normally goes through a third person, "poorer for many years", is his stock reply, as usual no proof yet, speculation and an opinion that has not reaped what it sowed in the previous 3 big events of late.

The timescales are different - what you have to imagine is wanting to cancel your season ticket and the club saying "Sure, here's your bill for the next 12 months". And that's not so difficult to imagine.

Or 5 years if you want to back out of your 1901 membership.
