Then the vast majority of season ticket holders who do not do away games as a rule and may only have their season ticket points plus a few home cup games, in essence a very large number spread over a very small points range.
"Then the vast majority of season ticket holders who do not do away games as a rule and may only have their season ticket points plus a few home cup games, in essence a very large number spread over a very small points range." trouble is if you cant get to away games cost time family commitment whatever, it becomes a vicious circle of unable to go unless you go to further afield

Disagree. Gives anyone logging on at 9 an equal opportunity.
It doesn't give an equal opportunity - some people will have a much better opportunity even tho they log on at exactly the same time because of the random way the queing system works. The previous system with no queing actually gave everyone the same opportunity

Palace' s "loyalty points" system for getting cup and away tickets rewards you spending money on food and drink and buying replica shirts at Selhurst . (One point per £1 spent, attending an away game is typically 20 points, a season ticket is 500 points)
And you can get a chunk of extra points if you purchase their premium season ticket product (free sharing , shop discounts etc)

But doesn't the queuing system give everyone who has logged on, the same opportunity of being number 1 in the queue, and then everyone who isn't number 1, the same opportunity of being number 2 in the queue.....
