God almighty man - he's 20 years old and half a season into the PL having played 10 odd games. Brighton fans should know more than most that give a young, talented player time and he'll often come good - often very very good and get sold on for loadsamoney
Yeah he might need time , but on way should he be in front of GR or YM

Agree. I do get why he went for him over Minteh today in theory. Against Man U there was acres of space down the wings to exploit but Everton's low block posed a different problem. I would've gone for Rutter today as he'll cause problems for any defence whether central or wide

Gruda looks tidy and I’m sure he’ll come good one day but far to lightweight at the moment to be starting games. Can’t seem to go past a full back and just cuts back and passes to RB over and over and over.

Promising player, poor today…..

Along with most of the others…..
Got into some great positions and was totally ignored unless he was a last resort for a pass imo. Wound me up big time during the game. Veltman was the worst offender

On at least five occasions he was unmarked and onside and a lofted pass would have been 100% better than yet another sideways or backwards pass, just ignoring his great position.

He wasn’t great today and I knew he’d become the scapegoat, but he wasn’t to blame

He shouldn’t have been picked, but he certainly put in a shift, just got outmuscled by one of the more physical defences in the league

Odd time to pick on Weiffer seeing as not playing today, and his last performances have been decent.
I think you mean Wieffer not playing pretty much ever, unless you go to away games. I don't even remember what he looks like let alone when or how his last performances were.

He's the one on the left

Gross and Mac when they first joined. Facundo, O’Riley and now I suspect Gruda. They are players who liked/like playing on the right but more centrally. None are wingers. We love a player who plays in that position but we also love keeping them out wide.

I don’t blame him either but surely that’s exactly the point? He’s not ready for the Premier League and Hurzeler’s team selections let us down.

Gruda has talent and I’m sure will be a good player, but there’s no way he should be starting ahead of Minteh, Rutter, Adingra or Solly when fit.

He’s a Bounanotte clone. They are not wingers! They are both most effective at CAM due to lack of pace but being more of a creative player. Stop playing them on the wing and they will improve. Managers trying to shoehorn players into his system when it’s an obvious case of square peg round hole
