I would expect to see at least half of the Tory MP's campaign for out and we all know how angry the grassroots are with Cameron over the supposed deal he has got, he is now a dead man walking and as befitting an idiot has made a complete mess of this.

All for the sake of placating the Euro sceptics in his party he has plunged the country into god knows what chaos.

The terrible tragedy of this issue is that the *concept* of a combined Europe is absolutely brilliant. A corner of the world which has a significant majority of the greatest minds, engineers, inventors, artists ,etc.
If it was properly organised and run efficiently, with democratic and transparent principles, it would be an absolute world-beater. A population almost equal to China, boasting all the above advantages would leave the USA and Chinese in the shade.

Corbyn set out his views on Europe very clearly before he was elected leader and got a massive mandate for them from Labour members, so the forthcoming debate will be very straightforward for him. The 'In' camp always state that if we left the EU most of the global headquarters in London would relocate with the loss of jobs. If the Mayor of London (and also potential future Tory mayor, Zack Goldsmith) are confident enough to defy DC and they back us leaving, is there any concern that this would materialise? Surely the mayor of our capital should be fighting tooth and nail for us to remain in, and protect those HQ and jobs they create?

Boris comes from a deep mistrust of the political project and worked as a correspondant in Brussels at one time. if he is saying we should be out, then maybe its because in his view the benefits to the City are less then the costs? this is why its a big deal which way his position went, not because of supposed ambition but because he makes his view from a position of informed authority, of how the real machinery in the City and the EU works and what necessary. one has to bear in mind he is openly pro-immigration to fullfill employment at all levels, so not the usual arguments.

you have any evidence for your assertion, since you made it? methinks you're confusing your prejudice of Tory party members (which is split anyway) with all Tory voters. if this was such a clear cut issue there wouldnt be a conflict in the party, and they wouldnt have had the option of a referendum.

I'm genuinely astonished at Johnson's decision - must be the greatest piece of luck Corbyn has had since elected leader. The Tories will spend the next 4 months going into the May elections and London mayor tearing themselves apart over the issue that sent Thatcher to her political grave. It was all being relatively competently managed by the Blair of the right, Cameron with a load of PR bullshite and spin that the press were largely buying but looks like the pig ****er's luck has at last run out. Not before time.

So you think the next four months will benefit Corbyn. Heard precious little about/from him in the last few weeks after making his weekly bloomers, i thought he might have gone on his hols.
Corbyn will just an onlooker who few will take notice of, the attentions will be on the battle for IN or Out. At the finish Corbyn will be no nearer to being elected PM.

whilst this is indeed a technical majority,i think its fair to say its pretty evens and not what you have been suggesting

He could have helped make a few decisions..... he was on the EU Fisheries committee although his attendance record was abysmal and he decided not to take an active part.

Edit : Forgot to add he still claimed every penny he could from the EU finances in expenses etc though.
