Also reversed withdrawal from the WHO, halted the construction of the border wall, ended the Muslim travel ban but most importantly changed the rug in the Oval Office.

Just to put things into context for those who don't know all the facts...
Joesph Biden only became the new US President today because ultimately the Democrats couldn't field ANY other candidate among their ranks that would stand a chance of defeating Donald Trump in the election, so Biden juniorgot the job, so basically he is a stool pidgeon. He may be a better alternative than the outgoing one but don't expect him to radically change anything, basically it'll now be boring politics for the next few years which is how the establishment like it to be.
No, Vice President Kamala Harris is the real deal for the Democrats, and they know it, they're just waiting for Biden to have a sidelining illness and in she'll step. Democrats couldn't have her running for the Presidency in the election itself as there wouldn't have been enough votes for her to defeat Trump, so this was their next best option to get her to the White House summit, it'll be interesting to see how this plays out, as will the impeachment trial of the Donald.
Harris got absolutely wrecked and exposed by a far more intelligent and principled politician in Tulsi Gabbard during the Democrat debates when challenged on her criminal justice platform.
Harris is every bit a corporate puppet as she's willing to do or say anything to gain any kind of power.
She didn't get the VP gig because she was the best political candidate available.
She's the most easily controlled by Pelosi and Schumer.

Boring but interesting.
Most Brits including many NSC’ers will possibly lose interest, instead navel gazing in the usual UK party political spats. I’ve always found the US interesting, going back to the BBC’s Alastair Cooke and Charles Wheeler contrasting takes on the nation (when I was a kid in the 70’s). So I’ll keep watching.
One thing never mentioned would be where a congressman dies or becomes incapacitated with mid terms way off, this could be significant to the Senate composition. We could see the occasional state general election to fill the position.

There are differences by State, but typically in the event of a US Senator being unable to continue in office, that State's Governor appoints a replacement, often until the next General Election.

The swap of art and photos is funny, a merry go round every 4 or 8 years. Biden including Dem and Rep figures in history who he sees as unifiers. Trump liked early president Andrew Jackson for some reason.
No doubt thought through and stage managed.

The rug was clearly the important and urgent change though. Toilets have also had a very deep clean.

No chance. Biden will be an extremely old and passive president. There will be little activity, apart from the early and easy headline grabbers. Its back to the consolidation of the status quo and quiet subterfuge and corruption that scuppered Hilary's chances and now seems easily forgotten.

You know exactly what I meant by that, you had had a busy day doing all the heavy lifting of being the only apologist for a undignified, hate filled racist and it was time for your bed in more ways than one.
Oh I have seen what has gone on in the last 4 years and its been sad and unsavoury and ultimately chilling when you realise how close Trump came to actually seizing power illegally. " Govenor... I need you to find me 11,000 votes, you can say you recalculated....."
Hope has triumphed over Hate, only just, and huge problems remain, no matter what happens in the next four years, the world will be a safer place. So, best you try to be constructive if you can, there is already someone so bitter, hate filled and ignorant in position in his Florida bunker who has your job already.
America is a broken country and one change of President is not going to fix that, although Biden has to be an improvement on Trump.
The country has been divided for so long that it even debateable whether its fixable but certainly not in the short term and it pains me to give the man any credit but the one thing Trump did achieve was exposing how divided the US is for all to see and no longer making it possible to hid behind the thin fake facade of a "united States" never has a name been so ironic.

Ridiculous generalisation.
They might not have gone but no one votes for them. That was a propper protest vote. Trump increased his vote.
And Biden got 6m more, 14m more than Mrs Clinton, higher turn out, less proportionally.
