The question is SF.....why are you so negative.....
Well, he did predict us to get 4 points last month so he's entirely consistent.

So YOU think we will attract another 10,000 people week in week out, once the euphoria is over, based on.............?

Oh yes. My next door neighbour says he will come to games but hasn't bothered to see one in 10 years & there are 10,000 people out there like that? Do me a favour.
We'll see won't we 'Steve Foster'. This has been discussed again and again (often in reply to your repeatedly pointless threads) so I'm not going to rise to it.
Question for you - say you are right (and you're not), so what? What is the point you are trying to make? We're not going to stop building the stadium because you think it's not going to draw 10k a week. So what exactly is the outcome you would like to see from your oft repeated "we won't fill it" threads?
If there is going to be such a clambour for tickets at Falmer week in week out with another '10,000' coming to the Amex every other week - don't you just think that some of these people would want to watch the club at withdean this season?
With less than 9 hours away there are still tickets for tonight's game?
Regrettably I have heard little more than conjecture, hearsay & just blind optimism as to how & where all the extra armchair visitors are going to come from.
You didn't answer my question. So, what if you are right? What action do you want taken or what do you expect to happen.
I wrote a long reply & then my PC froze. Grrr!!
just to clarify, as I seem to have poured petrol on SF's fire, the guy in the TO said there were plenty in the family stand, all other area's were selling outbought 2 tickets in the family stand (sorry amex lovers, The L&G family stand)
at about 4 30(mon) and was told there were 'plenty' left.
They will turn up just to piss you off dude,......... you are SOOOOOooo boring.
And are Brighton not planning to do this? You make the point yourself "Great job down with 1901 club. Now need to attract the casual fan". Yep - great job, and NOW they start to move on to the rest. I'm sure they have thought of this.
As for the 13k crowds at the Goldstone, I'm not going to go over old ground, but if you search the many threads on this then you will see that crowds have moved on massively since the early 80's. Sadly we have missed out by being football nomads, but not for much longer.
Crowds are far, far bigger than they were (masses of stats elsewhere on NSC) - so you simply can't compare Goldstone data to what might happen at the Amex.
How many are Exeter bringing?
they have only sold 150
yeah, i can see what you're saying it would be a bit of a squeezeBloody hell!!
We have 123 seats left:
1...........!! in South J
122 in W
If we sold out it would be wonderful if we could let BHA fans into the away end - segregate the seats. I suppose the club couldn't do it as home & away fans would have to go through the same turnstile
