I'm happy to call you out. What the chuff are you talking about?

Are you just publishing hopelessly vague stuff so that you can pin anything onto it and claim to be right?

Sorry Bozza, I posted to say a 'potential transfer news update', and some have embellished that to suggest I signposted an imminent arrival, which is not what I said, that's all I'm saying!

And trust me, it's not pissing in the wind guff stuff, I promise you.

No. He said we're still in for Bolanos and Calleri but the complexities will lengthen the process.
So wedgee and Naylor are both on the same song sheet then, we're in for a striker but it will take a while....isn't that what I said?

Think Naylor was just implying that it's just going to happen at the end of the window, if at all:-

Murray on a 93 day loan it is then. I do not believe we have a hope in hell of signing either of the two South Americans. They will have much better options than BHA

Not necessarily. Naylor says later in the window. Any 93 day loan for Murray would be in the loan window to maximise availability

How many times have we signed a player at the end of a window and been saying if only we had signed him earlier in the window. I realise that it is not alwwys possible but have the club not learnt from previous experiences.

It could be, just could be, we have tentatively agreed a striker signing and it might be dependent on the selling club obtaining a replacement.

As youve just said, its not always possible for any number of reasons. You should know that from your left back obsession in the loan window

The loan window opens officially when the transfer window closes which is 2nd Feb.and lasts until Mid March usually midnight of the 3rd Wednesday /Thursday in the month so there is no rush from that point of view to get GM on loan but there is to get him scoring goals as we need them.

To take us to the playoffs it would have to be later in the window wouldn't it?

We are so useless at signing permanent strikers that I have no faith in us making a BIG name signing  One in five years when we are pushing for the Premier League is pathetic. I hope no-one is going to bring CMS up

If we've really been looking at spending this much on a striker it's going to be seriously underwhelming if we fail to sign anyone decent. Therefore, my prediction is that we don't sign anyone decent.

I am very unclear why the club have not approached you with a job offer to replace Winstanley as head of player recruitment .

Just wondering if all these posters having wet dreams about the imaginary return of Murray have been issued with restraining orders to keep them away from ex girlfriends/wives they have continued to stalk long after the relationship is over

Presumably this transfer news update is more than just a statement of how hard everything is to progress with.
