As promised:

Much better balanced. You now win £17.50 absolute minimum.

Edit: 1-0 Barca is now 8/1 on Betfair Exchange

I see what you mean, I am leaning towards over 2.5, covering 0-0,0-1, and 1-0 on the exchange then backing the draw in play.
No need to cover 0-0, fella! Your in-play draw does that.

Thanks for the info. Looks tempting. Excuse my ignorance but which bet would pay out if it finishes 2-0 to either side?
Hmmmm. I have overlooked that haven't I? :lolol:

I got that wrong. Looks like >1.5 goals is the one to do afterall.

I have deliberately left that off because I don't actually know what it is. Regardless, it'll be a small amount off your total profit on the bet of either £108 or £140.

5% of any profit on a single book. I.e If you back 2 outcomes with betfair they will take 5% of your total profit not 5% of the winning bet.

Doing a great in play offer...

Basically how it works is if you bet up to £50 before the game and then another £50 during the game if the in play bet loses they'll refund your in play stake.

So for example if you bet on both teams to score at say 5/6 and then both teams not to score at 5/6 during the game the most you can lose is like£5.00- £7.50 and win is around £45.

Did this on Man Utd Vs Liverpool game last week and bet on Man Utd to win before the game and Liverpool/ draw during the game - easy money!

They're doing it on Liverpool vs Arsenal and Stoke vs Chelsea this week.

If you were planning to do a similar bet ayway then its a bargain for you, if you were not then its a bargain for them.

For me over 2.5, covered 1-0,2-0,0-1, and 0-2 on Betfair.

In play bet draw.

Good luck to you all.

Same. Worst case senario (2/3/4/5-1 either way) I win £0 best case £160 and in most cases I can win over £50

Many thanks to Oscar for pointing out the 2-0 oversight.

This is now the best I can do. It compares the ">2.5 goals + hedges + in play draw" bets with the ">0.5 goals + in play draw" option, having balanced the hedges as best possible. The hedged bets now incorporate the 5% deduction on total profits made on the market.

In summary, you are likely to be a minimum of £16 up in the first example. The lowest you can make is £4.50, and that's only 3 goals or more are scored and it isn't a draw. So 2-1, 3-0, 3-1, 4-0, 4-1 etc

Got the half time draw again at 11/10 . 2 in 2. Can we have that spreadsheet again please Simster for the next time. I had already gone in for the +0.5 goals.
