Paddy power are doing a free £10 in play bet if you bet £20 before the games, there also doing the offer on all prem games that are live on BT sport or Sky until end of the season(about 8 games)

It's always an each to their own thing with this but I really do think under 3.5 goals first half is the way to go. If there's 3 goals even in say half an hour (hugely unlikely) you can use the risk free bet to cover over 3.5 first half and will get a good enough price to make the money back give or take a few quid. Then assuming there's under 3.5 at half time you have a completely risk free £50 bet safe in the knowledge your first one can't lose...

Another option is over 0.5 and as soon as the first goal goes in you'll know you're risk free. Worst case is at about 70-75 mins you can back 0-0 at a price as good as evens. So easy...

just lay a good match on betfair/smarkets ect and have a £50(risk free) bet for a £1ish loss. or you can back and lay the in play bet to guarantee profit. about £30 to £45 profit.

Each to their own - I can't be bothered with that stuff - I like to go for it in these. Best success was Man U v Real last season or season before - did Real in play at 7s I think when they were a goal down - 1 min (literally) later Nani gets sent off and Real score 2 :)

yer fair play, i usually do the paddy power offer as a free bet instead of laying. i just think the £35ish profit is too good to turn down.

Ok, so we've got:

Bet 365: £50 "risk free" in-play bet if you place £50 before the game
Paddy Power: £10 free in-play bet if you place £20 before the game
Sky Bet: £20 free bet when new customers deposit £5

So NSC punters, what can we do to maximise our returns from this lot?

Betfair (Un)Sportsbook do refunds on correct score bets if certain things happen (you get to pick one)

- Messi scores first
- Barcelona win and both teams score
- Munich win and both teams score
- 5 or more goals are scored
- Munich win by 2 goals or more

Ignoring Sky Bet as I have an account, the easiest way I can figure out is this...

Staked - £50 B365, £50 B365 in-play, £20 PP

Pre-game:
£50 on Over 0.5 goals returns £51.51
£20 on Over 0.5 goals returns £20.40

In-game:
£50 on Draw returns £175ish

0-0: £175ish - £55 profit
Score Draw: £240ish - £120 profit
Any other result: £71.90 + risk-free £50 return = £121.90 - £1.90 profit

This leaves a tenner free bet available to be placed on anything. You could place the in-play tenner on Double Chance 1/2 (Home or Away win) but you'd only get a few quid and probably make the £1.90 profit into £15 profit.

There is also the opportunity to sit and wait to see if there is an early goal before moving money towards the draw outcome.

Especially after the way the first 15 minutes went last week.

Scrap that. Paddy Power put a 1/2 minimum odds qualification, unlike Bet365

Chaps, I think I've absolutely smashed the bookies here.

If someone can be bothered to check the figures, I'll post the spreadsheet as a zipped attachment again.

But basically, if you can be bothered to:

a) open a SkyBet account and make two bets (the first must be evens or higher)
b) open a Paddy Power account and make two bets (the first must be 1/2 or higher)
c) Make 2 bets (one in-play) on your Bet365 account (new or otherwise),

...then if my figures are right, there is a free £38.14 (minimum) for you right there. (thanks Zebedee)

My rationale was that the Bet365 bet we all seem to like does work well, but only really pays out on a draw. So I've used the two other opening offers to pay out on a win. Going with <2.5 goals with Sky Bet just about allows you to qualify for the £20 free bet, and hedging that with Paddy Power (the >2.5 goals bet) just about allows you to qualify for the £30 free bet there. Then use one free bet to bet on Bayern, and the other on Barca.

Simster - Is there an error in your table for Bet 365? Are the odds on Over 0.5 goals really 3/4? More like 1/33?

Good spot. Let me edit that - brings minimum return down to £38. Still decent enough to make it worth doing.

£2.80 on 0-0 at 20.0 on the machine
£10 e/w Lewandowski FGS 11/2 with PP

I've done over 0.5 goals with Bet 365 but still undecided on what to do in-play as I can't imagine this is going to end 0-0. Do they do over 2.5 goals in-play?

EDIT: I see they do so I might just go for it at kick off.

I've expanded my sheet to include opening offers at Coral and TitanBet. High score draw ideally (£167 profit) but worst case scenario would be a 1-0 or 2-0 Bayern win returning just the £56 profit.

I plan to do something with a big upside with the Real v Juve game. That one won't be highscoring, so IMO is great candidate for sheebo 's "under 3.5 goals in the first half" bet, followed by something a bit tasty.
