Large mug of tea in bed in the early morning, coffee mid morning, then tea in the afternoon usually with a couple of chocolate Hobnobs or cake if my nearest and dearest has made one. If away in a hotel, it could be tea with fresh scones, clotted cream etc. Maybe a cup in the evening if not on the wine.
Lovely.

I’m hungover today having drunk for the first time in a long time. Hence all this waffle about treats today.

Went it the Welly in Shoreham for Sunday live music with friends and then footy.

Drank Whitstable Bay black stout and moved onto a bottle of Malbec around 8pm.

Felt like a bag of shit tied up with string this morning. Okay now.

I'm glad you included fish & chips on this list, as I always crave tea on the rare occasions I visit a chippy.

For everyday use: dark chocolate digestive biscuits.

Goes brilliantly with fish and chips.

You get that salt dry thirst and then a mouthful of tea? Sublime.

Surely this is the other way round though. Tea being the best thing with fish & chips.

Otherwise you'd be saying, 'Lovely cuppa tea - but some fish and chips would make it better'?

Yes. You are correct and that did cross my mind.

However, for simplicity’s sake due to me being rather hungover, I didn’t do the right thing and I’ve let everyone down and it’s all gone sideways. I’m sorry.
