I'm glad you included fish & chips on this list, as I always crave tea on the rare occasions I visit a chippy.

For everyday use: dark chocolate digestive biscuits.
Goes brilliantly with fish and chips.

You get that salt dry thirst and then a mouthful of tea? Sublime.

ill opt for bourbon biscuits or a Yorkie bar. both to be dunked.

Bourbons are good, in addition to my earlier preferences. Solid structure, don't fall apart instantly in the tea (unlike, say, a Rich Tea).

Entirely depends on the day and time of day.

Sunday mid morning full English with a cuppa just can't be beaten.

Mid afternoon, got to be digestives. McVities. (Other brands are available but are also crap).

I think you’d have to go a long way to beat a cup of tea with a tea cake and jam.

What’s your perfect tea accompaniment?

Biscuits?
Toast?
Crisps!
Fish and chips?

What goes just right with your cup of bumble?
Surely it depends on the time of day?

Morning : With toast

Lunchtime : With Fish and Chips, bread and butter.

Tea Time : McVities Chocolate biscuits.

A fine point;

For me;

Breakfast; tea and toast. Jam or marmalade.

Second breakfast: tea with avocado and mixed beans on toast (for example)

Elevensies: tea and cake

Lunch: sandwiches and tea

Afternoon tea; cake and / or Melba toasts with various toppings - perhaps cucumber and cream cheese or salmon. The usual sort of thing. And POT OF TEA.

Dinner: fish and chips (for example) and big mug of tea.

Supper; tea and a Penguin biscuit.

Pre bed; tea on its own

my tea today.

I’m anticipating the dry of the snack will go very well with tea.

Blow job and a spliff wouldn't go amiss with a cup of tea.
