Easy 10... EASY10??!!!!! There's me too!!

What a game! What a game!! What a game!!! The only hitter who didnt score was the Hammer, Willingham. We pulverised them!!! Hernandez was off sorts after a relative died and still he pitched better than the Boston SP!!!! Even Hicks the season's worst rookie scored!!

Oh yes!!!! The Twins are a comin!!!! (But perhaps not this season...)

I shall be watching your Twins, chaps, at the Nationals in June, as part of a visit to Washington. Other than a triple-A exhibition game at the Oval a few years ago, won of course by the mighty Mets, this will be my first MLB experience.

Its beginning to come together. If Diamond and Corriera can make up for Poorly Worley we might just get above .500 this season.

Poor Old Rockies. Fancy coming up against that Cardinal pitching in this form.

Last night Shelby Miller gives up a lead off hit, then proceeds to send the next 27 batters back to the dugout.
This afternoon Adam Wainwright takes a no hitter in to the 8th and end up with a 2 hit shut out.

Awesome

I said I wouldnt come on NSC today but just had to share this:

Twins rookie Aaaron Hicks batting at less than 1.50 in his first seaon exploded last night for the Twins against Chicago. Two HRs and a most unbelievable catch here:

The Twins season gets better and better!

You’ll have a great time. The build up starts on the 4 train to 161[SUP]st[/SUP] Street. Suggest you buy your beers before / after the game as the prices in Yankee Stadium are outrageous – it’s pissy US beer, they ID you and limit you to 2 beers per person. Should be a great atmosphere as the Yankees and Red Sox have kissed and made up after the Yankees played the Red Sox theme – ‘Sweet Caroline’ – following the bombings in Boston. Weather in NYC is a bit mixed at the minute but weekend should be good. One thing you will notice is how many people don’t really watch the game, they eat, drink, chat, go for a slash etc – then watch the video replay if they miss anything important. It’s also interesting seeing how many people have left before the end of the 9[SUP]th[/SUP] innings – sounds familiar, BAD FANS!!

Enjoy

Expect the game to last about 4 hours, even if it doesn't go to extra innings. Yankees/Red Sox games take forEVER, for some reason.

Probably not of great interest (as if that's stopped me before...) but I was at Fenway Park last night to see both the poor fella who was widely pictured being pushed away from the recent marathon bombings with both his legs blown off, and the Latino chap in the cowboy hat who helped rescue him, throw out the ceremonial first pitches. Happily, both those two brave souls looked in absolutely terrific, beamingly good form.

...unlike the Boston Red Sox who lost a tight pitching duel with the Phillies 3-1.Hey ho: free tickets to the upper tier and some Sam Adams Summer Ale softened the blow, it's only one game etc.

Some days it’s good to be a Mets fan. Just watched game 3 in the Subway series and the Yankees are blowing it big time. Tonight’s 9-4 gubbing by the Mets makes it three losses in a row. Let’s hope for a 4 game sweep tomorrow.
