How many times in that series vs the Royals did they have bases loaded, and fail to score ? Ugh. Still, seems to me the pitching ain't been bad, they just need to capitalise on the hits.

Couple of bad pithcing games and then the batting dried up. No worries Easy, were still ahead of the game and Jared Diamond will soon be back.

I was at AT&T park on Sunday. That is some stadium...great city San Francisco. Presentation of the rings to the 2012 World Series champs.
But what followed was the worst inning by opening Giants pitcher in 111 years I think (bit of a novice at Baseball stats).
Went on Monday night too when they beat the Rockies 4-2 with Sergio 'fear the beard' Romo closing.
Picked up the obligatory Buster Posey and Pablo Sandoval tee shirts for my kids.

I was "watching" this on Gameday because I have the Cubs closer (Fujikawa) in my fantasy side. Having given up one run, he put two on and then faced one of my batters (Brandon Belt, who has had a pretty slow start this season). Was torn between wanting Fujikawa to get the save, and Belt to blast one out the park. As it turned out, Belt hit a two-run scoring double and Fujikawa ended up getting the win when the Cubs won it in the bottom of the ninth, so it probably worked out okay!

Triple plays are pretty rare (an average of about 4 per season). You won't see one like this very often! - Yanks turn one of rarest triple plays in history
