were they central midfield? but i agree both in same side ..nah
No sure they were supposed to be but it happened quite a few times as I said they were not sure of where they should have been.

Lopez was disappointing on Saturday which was a bit odd as in the previous game I thought he'd finally settled in.
As for Barnes, he made a difference when he came on and when he plays in that more central role I think he could actually be better as a box to box midfielder. He defends well, tracks back and tackles, plus (regardless of what his myopic detractors say) he is capable of some really good link up play.
The problem is that when he hits a patch of bad form, Gus refuses to drop him and that makes it easy for people to slag him off.
One other thing, I met him the other day at the kids do, and (again contrary to all this bad attitude bollocks) he was a really nice guy, incredibly polite and really making an effort with the kids. This reiterates what my missus said to me previously, as the players use the Virgin Active gym, and she reckons he's the politest one of them all (and he's not even the one she fancies).
Since when does being polite make you a good footballer?
Whatever his demeanor off the pitch (which judging by tour comment is good) I still think he's out of his depth - too slow no turn of pace and weak and has no idea on how to lose markers in and around the area, but thats my opinion.
Maybe shes the one he fancies
Think Barnes will be back in for a while now
Interesting to see if he starts when Buckley is fit. He played the right attacker role today which he did well but surely Buckley is a better option?
Move him to the left? Harsh on Lua Lua
Can't see a change in formation so will be interesting to see what happens when all 3 are fit.
