Maybe put this on the police thread mate. Not the one about dead, butchered children.
Yes I am the one who started posting about riots on this thread. Funny how you jump on me. But you are right this isn't the place.

Sorry if covered already above ….

LBC spoke to an investigative reporter who’s an expert in tracking down the original sauce of lies published over the internet. It”s one woman who created this baseless lie about the Southport murderer being an illegal immigrant. The liar’s first claim to fame was making an online name for herself in anti lockdown stuff. She wants to be named right now to carry on building her following.

Understandable why people are so angry but they shouldn't be taking it out on the Police as it appears to be happening this evening

Shocking scenes. Imagine there are scared traumatized children throughout this community, getting ready for bed, needing reassurance from parents and this lot decide to riot. No words. As if the tragedy itself wasn’t enough for a lifetime.
Absolute snide, opportunist scum.

What are they protesting?
Im with the families, friends and general public who let it be known to the Prime-minister their feelings, that this has to stop and that the fear of punishment and consequences has eroded from our society.

He’s now in a position as leader of the elected, majority government to make a change or at least start the process.

For whats its worth, had it of been Sunak in that position today, I think i’d been a whole lot worse.

I get the feeling people are fed up / frustrated with politicians and people in high office turning up, laying flowers and speaking to the cameras about what tragedy has unfolded, offering condolences.

Action speak louder then words.

Brighton factually.....
Tony or whoever he is has called the suspect a terrorist when the police have made it clear it wasn’t terrorism.
The truth is always in the middle actually, the police are “currently not treating“ the attack as terror related, which is the sensible statement about eliminating reasons.
however are being helped by counter terrorist unit according to the Home Secretary.

Protesters barricaded themselves down a side street, dragging bins from a pub and industrial unit behind to provide more missiles to throw at police.

As riot officers deployed teargas to try to fight back the angry crowds, the group of mostly men covered their faces and continued to throw glass bottles, plant pots and empty bins.

As police with riot shields tried to push the crowds back, some attacked yellow Matrix police vans, pulling at wing mirrors and jumping onto the roof.

There were shouts of “we want our country back” and “Tommy, Tommy Robinson”, as a police helicopter circled overhead.

You’ve no idea who you are with in regard to the families and friends of this tragedy. Who exactly in the general public are you speaking for and what is this change you’re expecting?
