West is BEST
And it’s fat bald middle aged men, fat sunburned women and chavs in ballys throwing stuff at police. Not because they care but because they want to cause trouble.

How depressingly predictable.

They should teargas and firehose them back to next week.

Protesters shouted that another group across the road were trying to storm a nearby mosque.

As a police van burst into flames, riot police armed with dogs and shields pushed the crowd back.

Amid shouts of “dogs” hundreds of people began running backwards, but some turned to confront police, pulling down a crumbling wall to use the bricks as weapons, pelting them at officers. Others ripped open black bin bags, looking for objects to throw.

As spectators watched from front gardens, crouching behind cars, riot officers with batons raised shouted “move”, sending them scattering into the protest.

As crowds dispersed the smell of burning filled the air, while some of the men walked away covered in blood from confrontations with police.

It is the Summer Rioting Season. All that's needed is a spark.

Merseyside Police has released a statement on the violence that has erupted outside a mosque in Southport.

The force says a large group of people, believed to be supporters of the English Defence League, began to throw items towards a mosque on St Luke's Road.

One officer has suffered a suspected broken nose and police vehicles have been set alight.
Bottles and wheelie bins have also been thrown at officers responding to the incident.

The violence appears to be linked to several false accusations spread online, with incorrect names of the 17-year-old boy that has been arrested shared on social media.

Assistant Chief Constable Alex Goss says: "There has been much speculation and hypothesis around the status of a 17-year-old male who is currently in police custody, and some individuals are using this to bring violence and disorder to our streets.

"We have already said that the person arrested was born in the UK and speculation helps nobody at this time.

"It is sickening to see this happening within a community that has been devastated by the tragic loss of three young lives."

The unnamed suspect is from Wales, Merseyside Police has said previously, but there have been false claims that he was an asylum seeker who had arrived in the UK by boat.

I thought it was impossible for the situation to become any more depressing but these neanderthals have managed it. People really are awful - shame on them.
It’s been all over Facebook, they where “mobbing up” if I was one of the kids fathers I would be telling them all to feck off

Anything from Tice, Lee Anderson or Farage yet? They had a lot to say about people attacking police in Leeds & Manchester Airport … or wrong coloured people?

This worried me. I knew there was a vigil, as indeed we would expect. But there was talk of a protest too- which was worrying. Then they attack a mosque ? I mean if they really had to make a loose connection, the offender's family came from Rwanda- a Christian country. So not only are they thugs looking for a cause, they are as thick as mince. They claim to be angry about the murder of children yet destroy their memories.

Hope all the police officers and dogs get home safe tonight. First responders went through just as much yesterday as the local community, and now their subjected to this violence.

The country has been on a knife edge, for years - spread through hate and false narratives online. I fear there is worse still to come.

Brighton factually.....
Imagine being one of those poor parents tonight in Southport raw with grief, staring at an empty bed, hearing police helicopters and sirens, the heartache is unimaginable.

I am not saying this is a terror attack, because no one knows yet.
The far right sadly feed of these incidents, they want division and anger just as much as any Islamist terror perpetrator would want in an attack of any kind, they want these responses they both want division and feed off it.
