No but at least he was there to get insulted by the chavs and not Xmas shopping like others?? ???

Not Xmas shopping, had to work sadly. It's tough making ends meet when you are a government employee so every little helps

Can't see the problem with a loyalty scheme. Our core away support is about 750 - so how would that inconvience all you part timers. The first come first served scheme is ok if you live in Sussex but there are quite a few regulars who live away, which in my case, means an extra day on the post - for Spurs I put in my request on the 7th with a blank cheque and was lucky enough to get my ticket from the last batch. I wish I could pop down to the club shop and post my application through the letterbox! We were also told by the club - be a Litterpicker, donate to the wotsit fund be a season ticket holder - put it all on your envelope - all this means diddley squat! You can shove litter picking where the sun don't shine now!

The only problem I can see with that is that you are descriminating against the less well off. If you could only afford to go to a few games a season, wouldn't you try to pick the best ones?

There are plenty of other games they would be able to get tickets for, and allocating tickets for the big games to people with loyalty points will not stop less well off fans from also getting tickets for these games.

The hardcore support of people who go to pretty much every match is unlikely to ever be greater than the amount of away tickets we would get.
