couldn't care less if the Australians are good at cricket or not, although they seem to be getting hammered by Pakistan and have lost the ashes. But the most important point is that they are shit at the global game of football, and that they are only world champions at er aussie rules., oh no sorry, maybe rugby league..? (played in australia and a few northern small towns like Widness). Sort of sums up Australian sport really - a high opinion of themselves but actually, globally, they are no importance at all. Let them comeback when they have won the world cup. Until then, jog on.

To be fair, on current statistics, Australia are only marginally more "shit" at football than we are, seeing as how they exited the World Cup finals a mere one round prior to England, and after getting a similar hammering from the Germans.
