Sorry, but that's just crap. Yes, it's the most widely played game in the world, but it's still just one game (and in a country like Australia it does not attract the best sportsmen). By your argument, Jesse Owens and Muhammed Ali were both useless athletes because they were crap at football.
Surely mocking Australia's cricket prowess is a little foolish. Yes we beat them in the last Ashes but the previous series they won 5-0. Overall the record is 132-99 to Australia. For a country with a population of 22.5 million they clearly perform better than they should at all sports. To think otherwise is just stupid.
