Do the ozzys really give a shit though ? The few I've spoken too couldnt care less.

Obviously there are a few who care.

I dunno ?

Well for once during an ashes series, I can't wait to get to the office tomorrow and see our two aussie friends. They certainly give a shit.

Only a few care.

Because it's football season they have something actually exciting to watch instead of the borefest that is test cricket.

How many variations can there be to putting a Shrimp on a BBQ?

No no, there are other Australian delicacies too, including, I believe, something called a Pie Floater

The mind boggles.

The Herald Sun, Melbourne (Australia's Sporting Capital) had a whole 2 pages dedicated to the cricket which were buried way back in the sporting section behind about 12-14 pages of football news.

Proof is in the editors positioning and space given too.

And have you thought in all you haste to try to appear informed that you as someone living in a completely different country have contributed to the statistic of most read story?

The majority of people who live in Sydney wil go buy the paper, not read it online :lolol:

Nah this is the Australian version.

Had over 3 million viewers at its peak rating.

The cricket didnt even get a 1/4 of that depsite it being on free to air tv.

so, what time is the cricket on over there?

and what time is the programme that had 3m viewes? prime time?

not hard to work out is it, aussies quite clearly care about cricket, get over it:lol:

Whatever next - Aussies don't care about the ashes? Riiiiiiiiight.

I guess the next thing we'll be hearing is the Aussie supporters singing "We came, We lost, we couldn't give a toss"

*hope so anyway*
