I'm sure Cardiff's 'LegoLand' stadium is superb. If you like see through corrugated plastic with that 'just built, but not finished' look - this is the stadium for you.

As for crowds, every new stadium will bring more people in, it's whether they can be kept there is the important bit. Thats where the team have to do their bit.

IMHO, Brighton have a huge fan-base that only need awakening with a decent run of results when you move.

I just had a look at their new stadium and from the camera, it looks pretty good. I like the fact that there are seats all around the Stadium, and not big gaps like we will have. The gaps between stands in the Falmer Mock up look a bit strange to me. I guess what matters though is how it "feels" once a match is on.

But every time I've been to a stadium like that, the bits covered up for segregation make it look shit???

I drove past it yesterday on the way to Cardiff bay, and it does look a bit 'plasticy'. Still, good luck to 'em.

If Dennis Wise is our manager, according to the opinion on here, there will be no more than a couple of thousand at the first game at the North Moulsecomb Stadium. Still, be plenty of room for the rest of us.

Can you rock up at the gate in Cardiff without a pre-purchased ticket? I fear that restriction will inhibit a lot of the casual support from turning up at Falmer.

The situation is this:

All season ticket holders have swipe cards instead of paper tickets, as do away travel members.

Other fans are encouraged to purchase stadium swipe cards in order to gain access to the stadium (games they purchase at the ticket office are added to the card as opposed to them being given or sent paper tickets).

However, paper tickets are available in advance, and are also available on the day of the game from the ticket office and from various ticket booths around the ground.

He's dissin' ya. And your ground.

In fairness, the Liberty Stadium is a very nice little ground, especially considering it's one of those council-owned affairs. In fact, it's ideal for a small club whose ambitions extend no further than hanging off the coat-tails of their more illustrious neighbours.

TLB's back and he's hit the ground running!

yours only holds 4,500 more than theirs. Hardly putting a nice little ground in its place

In fact, the Liberty Stadium's capacity is 20,532, while the Cardiff City Stadium's capacity is 26,828. A difference of 6,296, not 4,500.
