Cardiff
Maybe it's just me, but I don't like either Cardiff or Swansea's new stadiums. Having been to Swansea's, it's just a concrete jungle. Absolutely no design inspiration or uniqueness in that place whatsoever. And Cardiff's, from what I've seen, looks like a plastic version.

I've been to the Liberty Stadium twice for Swansea v Cardiff matches. The atmosphere was fantastic on both occasions (the first, a midweek Carling Cup game, and the second, a Sunday lunchtime league game). Much, much louder and livelier than the Vetch ever used to be.

As for our new stadium, the vast majority of our fans are very pleased with it. The facilities inside are absolutely superb, the views are brilliant and the atmosphere is far better than most expected. The players seem to like too, as 4-0, 3-1 and 3-0 victories in the first three games would indicate.

The improvement on Ninian Park is immense.

Why on Earth are have Cardiff built a new stadium anyway? If they ever reach the Premier League, they'll only end up playing at the Millenium.

Way out West
Unfortunately i think the main differance between ourselves and the likes of Cardiff is the fact that we may well sell out our first game at The Whatever (falmer) Stadium......But thanks to the drawn out feck up thanks too Archer,Prescott etc etc......We have i fear lost a lot of fans and it will take a long time to get them back. To think we will turn out at the Whatever Stadium and play in front of a full or close to full crowd week in week out is to say the least blind faith stupidity. Thanks to Archer etc it will take years to get them back, unless we sign big and make a statement about our intentions, but then you run the risk of over spending just to attract crowds and players....its a spiral we probably have to join, Ignore me im just seeing the negative....

sorry chaps
There's a certain amount of truth in that, but the big advantage of Falmer is that it has two huge university campuses within walking distance....I'm pretty sure that cometh the time the club will be VERY focussed on making the most of this.
