I’ll give James Madison credit for his bantz of putting the ball beyond the corner circle when the NS were giving him shït.
Listening on the radio start of the second half, could only hear the Leicester fans. Fairly standard stuff at the Amex these days.
I'm in WSU. Season ticket holder next to me couldn't go and I guess the exchange must have been open because his seat was occupied by a German tourist. He told me that he often came over to experience different English grounds. He was at Tottenham yesterday. He commented to me what a fantastic atmosphere there was at the game, much better than Tottenham yesterday. By the end he was joining in some of the singing and said that he had arrived as a neutral but was leaving as Brighton fan ! Of course, this was an exceptionally exciting game for a neutral tourist but even so , this helps confirm the in the ground atmosphere sense many of us had versus the ' wherever do they put the microphone ' quietness of some tv broadcasts.
Was a cracking atmosphere, another great Amex day!
So yes the atmosphere was good today at the ground.
Interesting and a bit worrying if it was bad on TV. Maybe we need to think about where the TV mics are.
I absolutely think it does matter. The club are clearly very interesting in improving our brand and in terms of attracting, players, sponsors and fans, we want everyone out there to know the truth which is that we have a passionate and loyal fanbase. We want that to come across
Bantz? Or time wasting after 8 minutes?
Yes to your second point
But a big fat no from me for point one.
Although for full disclosure, I moved today from my normal North Stand season ticket seat to one in the Lower East with my son (the half nearest the South Stand)
The atmosphere was dreadful, no singing, little shouting, but I don't care too much as it's not a 'normal' seat for me. But I couldn't sit in that morgue part of the ground for every home game, it would drive me crazy.
To offer an alternate to the tv watchers it sounded excellent on the radio.
ESL south end block is, in my understanding, lots of freebies/comps that are given out to various concerns, plus BHA club staff tickets that are often not taken up, which is why it is often less populated, unless it’s a big 6 club.
Nah! It literally took him 5 seconds to move the ball back.
It was pure bantz.

Great atmosphere again today.
We had a couple of Japanese tourists in our row, typically humble and nice.
I wonder what they thought about the mass "wanker" chants aimed at the ref, or the bloke constantly charging down the steps to abuse Maddison?
