I was lucky enough to be on the pitch prior to the game as one of the people holding the giant shirt flag. All I can say is the noise was deafening especially the rendition of Sussex by the Sea. Raised the hairs on my neck.

What was that about? Don't understand what shaking a sheet is about.

Deepest, darkest Sussex

Pfft, clearly you’re lying because someone was watching on the TV and claims they know better.

Definitely something in that. I watched the first two thirds on a very manky stream, gave up and switched to 5Live commentary. It felt like switching to a different stadium.

I was at the match but just listened to some five live coverage and the atmosphere was LOUD!

Considering we scored 5 i didn't think it was that loud yesterday. And the 'everywhere we go' song has been ruined by goons who have to sing 90mph. Why do we always do that?

Now I definitely disagree with that... most of the game went through the general lulls and spells where it ramped up, but as we got on top in the second half and (eventually) got the third, then 4th and 5th the stadium was buzzing and consisteny loud with other stands joining in far more last 20 or so.

Swindon, but used to be Manila
We had a couple of Japanese tourists in our row, typically humble and nice.
:

The wife being Asian herself struck up a conversation with about 6 Japanese students who had come to see Mitoma, they had all bought home shirts but could not get Mitoma on the back as the shop had no letter 'A's......not fantastic by the club considering the amount of names that have an A in them (especially our Japanese friends who want Mitoma).

Just while we taking of songs I can't quite get the Caicedo song: Caiscedo uh huh, he came from Equador uh huh to win the Ballon d'Or uh huh (Thinks that right then I lose it). I think it would be helpful to help us all sing together if the lyrics were posted on here occasionally to let us dullards catch up!

…and it’s constantly ruined (like many of our songs) by being sung way too fast. We can’t even keep time on GOSBTS, it always speeds up, and that’s with it being played on the PA :nono:
