Peace out.
Nobody is too old to wear a shirt.
At a match - never too old
Around town / on holiday - OK when you're under 20
Full grown adult in full Albion kit - looks stupid all the time unless you're actually playing football.
inspired by a comment made by someone in the thread about what to get on the back of next season's shirt, interested to know what people think about wearing replica shirts to games.
i'm in my late 20s, but wouldn't think twice about wearing my shirt. i think it looks great when everyone's decked out in blue and white. but clearly this isn't a universally-held view.
so, when does it become a bit tittish?
Mine was a generalization but wearing an Albion shirt to a hospital would seem a very odd choice of shirt to wear. I'm not going to modify my position just because the bloke fluffs up his point of view by pointing out that he pushes his wheelchair bound wife while wearing it.interested to see where simster's going to go with this one...
I always wear an albion shirt when I take mrs to kings for chemo, does this make me a chav when I'm pushing her in her wheelchair?
Couldn't agree more. Hopefully the trend for no colours when we play Palace will soon dissipate too, as it makes us look small time and stuck in the 90s, just because we have hardly played them in about 30 years.I do like looking at crowd shots and seeing all the replica shirts though. I thought the SCC away end looked pretty good on Saturday.
No age is too old to wear the shirt.
Can't understand why some care so much about what others wear.
Is it any of their business?

Never to old unless you are fat bald wrong end of 30 and support Chelsea West Ham or Pimpey.
football shirts should be worn when playing only... never worn a football shirt in my life, never will, just completly naff wearing them other than on a football pitch, and as for what age to wear one, age is a number.... you do what you like when you like at what age you like... bollox to what anyone else thinks.. im 50.. if i wanna wear jeans with designer rips in em i will... its what i want, not what jim or tim says or thinks in the pub... you get the drift of where im coming from,, the world is full of people to quick to judge...
you couldn't make it up ! stuck in the 90's ! small time ! no colours just add to the interest .Couldn't agree more. As a matter of interest how old are you and do you wear a replica shirt ? If so when and where ?
