Given our recent poor form, I'm feeling pessimistic about this one, as I'm guessing the rest of us are.
A few key absentees for Villa, coupled with their own poor form, is the glimmer of hope here.
This is a big game for Hurzeler. A defeat here will lose the fans and he'll really start to feel the pressure. A win would absolutely reverse the bad feelings that are growing.
We can do this. Hurzeler needs to find the perfect balance between attacking risk & opportunity taking, and defensive fortitude. A balance that we have yet to find this season under this manager.
We have a great squad. We play great football, even when we don't get the result, most of the time.
Let's hope we can finally make it click tonight and start a new run of good form.

Could we not just save on the travel costs tonight and give them 3 points and a 3 goal difference? Cuts out the middle man and more ecologically sound bearing in mind our record against them.

Just watched Fabs pre-match presser and he looks totally fed up. His body language is not that of the guy 2 months ago.
Why would he "lose the fans" if we don't win? He's lost some fans already, may lose a few more tonight, but not all the fans ;-)
