Yer but what I'm saying is I could pick up a randoms ticket with their ID because the pic is so small.
Got ya - used to get into clubs with my brothers ID when I was 15/16 and we look nothing alike!

The club should put this picture up on the big screen at our next home game.

"Do you know this man?"
maybe it will be put up pre-match and the big reveal for half time by using fanzone to zoom in, sort of ’and the winner is Mr Bert Berty McBerty in seat number 107. The police are on their way to present your prize’

I was the seat infront of this. His son (seemed like a very nice guy and leading lots of pre match songs) was basically crying. However only caught the aftermath of the guy leaving who didn’t seem apologetic at all.

It might have been covered already but what can the UK police actually do in this situation?
I’d imagine he’s looking at a club ban but not much else sadly.
Depends if the victim wishes to report him and press charges I guess. Sounds like there were plenty of witnesses.

True but it is odd nobody has said they recognise him from the Amex or anything.

I really hope a genuine Brighton fan didn’t buy the ticket and pass it to him. They would be shitting themselves right now, probably even more than he is.
Even if a fan had lent him his driving license, the club would have no idea who did it. It’s not like we were in our assigned seats

I fully agree the bloke is a coward im not a violent bloke but if I saw him at at game I would give him a slap if it didn’t result in me getting banned , but I hope for his sake he stays well away and gets a few weeks behind the door
Understand the sentiment but the fact is it happened and no one stepped in. Whether that was through fear of being beaten shitless or fear that the club would ban the guy stepping in (nailed on) the fact remains no one took control.

It will be the same if he's seen wandering around the amex, but someone will no doubt tell a steward.

Can you still do a citizens arrest? I always remember that was the running joke at school when I was a kid. Could we arrest him if we saw him at the amex lol ?

(Although these days if you did that you would probably end up being the one who gets arrested!)
