What a man. Everything he does makes him move of a hero. England's player of the year should certainly be in contention for MAN of the year, every year.

Even if he accidentaly discharged it, he had it loaded and you can't accidentally load an air rifle, therefore he was at some point expecting to fire it!
f***ing prick. He's committed a firearms offence and the police should be involved. These guys are (supposed) role models and what sort of message does it send out to kids, its acceptable to piss around with things that can cause considerable damage. The shooting world is under intense scrutiny since the events in Cumbria and that twat Raul Moat, and if the police aren't seen to do something about this idiots actions, it will just increase the pressure from the various groups trying to get shooting banned.

Somewhere over there...
I would expect we will not hear another thing about the story. The boy will be paid to off to keep him from talking to the papers and/or involving the police and Cole will get his wages docked.

I would like to see a petition started to get him prosecuted but it will more than likely be a waste of time.

Ashley Cole has just raised the bar for the model Prem player.

Roasting, motoring offences, nightclub brawls and reckless gambling are old hat, and firearms is where it's at. Is he angling for a megabucks move to the MLS?

Ashley, dear Ashley.

Let's go back a few years. You had it all. A lovely wife, respect from the football world, riches beyond your wildest dreams.

You had it all, even an air rifle.

You have sir, noone else to blame for everything than the man you see everyday when you look in the mirror.

Many would dream of just one day of your weekly salary.

You are everything that is wrong with football today.

He wouldn't dare point it at Torres because he knows its not ok, but the work experience boy, he can push the limits with him, what is he going to do?

I wonder if I'd keep my job if I bought a gun to work and shot a temp ...

Bully boy tactics by Cole, he never had my respect and surely this must go down as being a juvenile act by someone who should know better.

I wonder, will this story feature in the sequel to his seminal autobiography 'My Defence'?

Drogba comes a very close second, both total twats imo.

So drogba is an absolute twat right then.

You are basing your opinion on the small matter of football (in the context of everything else in the world) as a massive tw@, how many Tw@s do you know give £3m to build a hospital.

It is probably not the first time Ashley has fired his load at a man.

I don't like Drogba on the field, but there was a wonderful interview with him talking about his childhood and what he wanted to achieve. Certainly a misunderstood character.

It would be a waste of time because if the Student doesn't want to press charges then what can they do. I find a lot of the responses on here very Daily Mailesque. The one about Raul Moat is f**king ridiculous if I am being honest.

I like how Cole and Terry get Booed for what they have done, rightly so. The thing I find wrong is the fact that Wayne Rooney 'biggest **** and tw@ in the premiership, on and off the field, gets away almost scot free.

Look at what he's done,

In all honesty what has he done for England, nothing. Gets sent off, gives it to the fans and generally plays like he owns England. Also what he did to James McCarthy is probably what he is like in person, what thug elbows someone in the face for no reason. Rant over.

at chelsea you are sacked for doing drugs but if you shoot someone its not a problem lol what a joke he should go to prison like anyone else who shoots someone !! i think the boy should have the opportunity to shoot him back then maybe he will learn his lesson !! ( if it was me i would shoot him between the eyes if he shot me )

Cole should be fired.

It reminds me of when one of The Bay City Rollers shot a fan who waited outside the gate of where he was staying.
There might even be a connection with the events too, as the disrespect it suggests, may indicate some sort of a sickness from the celebrities.

About Drogba - I can't see why he'd be hated. Diouf and Barton I can understand.

Yes, Yes your right, I am basing my comments on the small matter of football, mainly because I only know of Drogba through football, I have no desire to follow his personal dealings in other walks of life.

And I am sure many other footballers who I personally am not to fussed on because of their football antics ON the playing field, who do very good things for charity, and whilst I have absolutely NO intention of getting involved in what Drogba does off the field, it would appear that Pepsi have basically given that money, he has merely passed it on, very generous but I am sure he can afford it, hopefully he does some good with his money for British based charities as well, seeing as it is this country that has given him the opportunity to have the life he does.

And I will continue to criticise any footballer who falls over in the penalty area, the second another footballer comes within 2 feet of him!!
