You could add the balance of the developments as well ..just 1/2 bed flats as far as I am aware
That's a nationwide issue . . . 1920's until 60's we built houses with gardens . . . .big and small . . . . . Thats what everyone needs . . . Even victorian terraces and workers 2 up 2 downs had an outside space.

The houses knocked down in the early 80's ( Halfords, B&Q etc) were better than anything built since. IMHO.

I agree, during the mid 50s my Paper Round included many of those houses including the council houses at the eastern end just before the hump back bridge under which the railway accessed the Quay.
Travelling that route now is beginning to seem like going through a canyon.
