Back in the day, Mrs B (who wasn't Mrs B then) lived in Brighton and I was in SBS. We almost moved to a one-bed flat in Brighton, mainly because it was in Brighton and we were young and more exciting back then. Because the process was taking months, we looked back in SBS and we could get a three-bed house for the same money. It was a no-brainer and, three houses later, we're still here.

I ran around the place this morning and thought about this thread and the comments on it. Yeah, I get the opposition to the development and concerns about overcrowding, but I can easily lose myself in the relative quiet of the beach, the downs, or even – at times – the riverbank. Wandering near the airport brings the added bonus of a view of the training ground in the distance

Is that peeking around the warehouses 😜

When I walk over there now, I go down to the country park loop where you can get very close to the training ground. I then go back across the new roundabout via the various crossings, past the entrance to the college and then back via the new shared pathway back underneath the flyover to rejoin the Toll Bridge. Makes for a lovely decent walk.

Ha, no I quite literally take the high ground. Plus when you've walked about 100m or so down the path the PANETTONE building are long forgotten...

Yeah, that's a nice walk, apart from being so close to the A27 for a stretch, with little protection (at the moment).

Tis a lovely walk indeed...I change between that one, and being a pretend estate agent along the board walk to the fort....I just can't help myself peering into peoples houses, I know its wrong but its fascinating how those houses have just exploded in size...there is a coffee van down near the fort too run by Richard Durrant and his family called the Pollinator, haven't tried it, but have heard good things...

Yes … we do have some lovely walks on our doorstep. Have been to the Pollinator a few times. And walking along the boardwalk you will pass the house that Georginio lives in 👍

I do the same when passing those 3/4(?) storey houses fronting the river in that stretch between the toll bridge and Ropetackle ….it would be rude not too look 😉

This is it about 9 months ago on Google Maps while still having work done. I travel with one of his next door neighbours on Seagull Travel to home games. They’ve shaken hands across the garden fence in the back garden 😂

Oh that one! We walked past with the dog the other day, I think I mumbled something about it looking like a museum of modern art! Oops!

You can tell which one it is just by the cars out the front!
