Balogun, Nketiah and Willock for White and you've got a deal.
That would be our work done for 12 months.

(with the added bonus of denying Newcastle young Joe Willock's services.)

I suspect we may need both White and Biss go this summer if the money on both is right.

Some of the funds will go into the transfer kitty however incoming £120-£130m including fringe players Id expect a big chunk to wipe out the 67m debt and balance the books

Not sure it’s as cut and dry as that. We also have plenty of other outgoings being lined up this next window.

Sure, if an obscene bid for White comes in, he’s going. But on our terms.

Biss actually is the one to worry about moving on, as his contract is running down.

Does Ben White want to go to Arsenal? Mid table Arsenal. Its obviously a step up from us surely he could see that if he holds out for better offers or had another good season with us then it'll be City/Liverpool/United/Chelsea making offers.

Totally this, really hope he stays , but if he leaves then it must be to a big club. Can't risk his career just for higher wages. Arsenal are not winning anything this decade.

40m and willock. Job done.

We have loads of other centre backs.

Not job done. That would be poor business.

Why should we bend over at the first offer from a club? This is the response some at NSC had with Leeds first offer in the summer.

I’m sure Tony will be relaxed and wait for further offers. Ben’s not going anywhere yet, he’s focused on the Euros for one, and there’s more than likely going to be other clubs coming in. If Maguire is worth £80m, £50m is the starting point.

To sell a young England international at the start of his career with a huge ceiling, a versatile player, total footballer and perfect for Potter ball? Yes, £40m and a player who had some good games at Newcastle is low ball for me.

As the chap above said. It’d be utterly foolish to take any early offers. We have all the cards. It’s not our job to give fair market value, so let’s wait to see what transpires.

Is see that Arsenal are favourites on Skybet to sign Ben White. However, they are also favourites to sign Bissouma, Tariq Lamptey, Zaha and James Maddison.
They can’t think much of their current squad!

Not defending Arsenal but haven't they already?

People keeps saying how much we lost last year. They do realise it is accountancy talk. Yes Bloom put more money in but it wasn’t to cover 60 million.

The thing is last season he wasn’t worth 25M that’s just the shitty lowball offer we got by ‘huge’ leeds. We wanted 40M+. I agree added at least 60% to his value this season especially with the England connection. So 65M starting bids and then discuss add ons. Nketiah and 50M plus some performance add ons (for both sides) might work.

Despite the losses I think he’s also been quite clear that we don’t need to sell…….Tony holds absolutely all the cards here. It’ll take crazy money plus Ben wanting away to get us to let him go. I can’t see £40m and Arsenal triggering either of those requirements - if £30m before he’d set foot in the PL was brushed away then £40m after a very impressive full season and England callup is going to be nowhere near.
