Seems a lot of people whinging about behaviour of others but not actually doing anything about it. Either say something to them or report it to a steward. Make a point of taking the stewards number and that you will take the matter up with the club later. Record the conversation with the steward or better still record some of the behaviour and then report it. Ranting about it on a football forum isn't going to change anything.

To be fair, if you get support from your fellow fans, then i agree with you. Where other fans are apathetic , then are you prepared to get a hammering?

Nice one

Anyone else sat in or around row P yesterday with a 140-180 seat number??

I only ask because of the wankers that were directly behind me. Presumbly it would have been row Q or R for them. They were a f***ing embarrassment and those who were also sat in the vicinity will know who im referring too. Behaviour id usually expect from a pissed up 16-17 year old (apologies for those well behave young lads in this category) but not from a group of middle aged men.

90 minutes of having to endure there foul mouthed tirade towards our players got somewhat boring in the end. Im not adverse to a filty mouth having one myself but why do these idiots who supposedly support the albion behave like this.

Inigo you spanish c**t
Kisishev you Bulgarian prick

The list went on and on.

Thats not even mentioning the arsehole who kept pushing his pisshead of a mate into the row infront. Which on two occasions ended up into the back of me. Not a problem, i can live with that but not when theres a f***ing young lad stood next to me. Im pretty placid and tolerant but they really tested my patience yesterday.

Seems like these bigger games are bringing more and more idiots out so best get used to it i suppose.
whoops sorry mate!

Lol...there were 3 blokes in their 40's calling the brentford black players, f***ing black niggers and black bitches....when Keiron started to challenge them , asking how they thought Zamora would be reacting to their shit, the answer was " well he is our ****** isnt he". I kid you not.

After it started to get a bit nasty and the rest of the fans around started to shuffle their feet and take an interest in their fingers ( Ie not getting involved) then we backed off not wishing to get a thumping from these twats...and yes, I have seen these " fans" at Withdean and also at away games .....who knows it may have been these guys yesterday....This is one of the reasons I have stopped going to away games....I cant be doing with these people any more

Sounds like the bunch of numpties who sang town full of bombers and small town near Delhi at Luton a few years back. Banter (the you're too ugly to be gay, especially to our own fans in the West Stand at the Pompey game, the northern slums song, etc) is fine and adds to the laugh one gets from going to football. Out and out racist abuse, acting like a tool and ruining others' experience is totally another thing and I'm right behind stewards, Old Bill, etc, if they throw these idiots out. Hope Hebberd, whatever my disagreement with his organisation of the stewards at Withdean, throws such people out of the Amex and bans them for life.

1-0 to the taliban was one of the funniest songs at Luton I've ever heard!

Town full of bombers - big no no of course.

Small town near Baghdad - Very funny for Luton if meant in the context that Luton's a shit hole :)

I have no idea what row I ended up in but it was in the 140s seats, and to the left of the covered stand. I ended up next to a bunch of teenage lads, one of whom was one of the most unpleasant little weasels I've ever had the misfortune to be around at a football game.

I cannot even begin to cover the sheer number of f***ing this or f***ing thats he came out with, along with more c*nts than I care to remember, a liberal sprinking of WANKERS and a vast quantity of PRICKS. It didn't seem to matter what was going on, it was aimed at every steward, Bournemouth fan, Bournemouth player and a few of the Albion players too (although, bravely of him, not close enough for the aforementioned to hear...). It just went ON and ON and ON, with no rhyme or reason, barely pausing for breath, like some horrendous case of Tourette's. Bournemouth player gets the ball? "f***ing C*NT!". Bournemouth player wins a tackle? "f***ing WANKER!". Bournemouth player takes a throw in? You get the picture.

This is not just a case of someone whose ears are a little too delicate for a football game. I fully expect to hear a few choice words when appropriate (I am as capable of that as anyone...well not the C word), otherwise I'd go to the ballet. And plenty of other people around me looked frankly embarrassed by him. Passion is one thing at a football match, but a constant (and it absolutely was constant) stream of obscenities is completely out of order. I don't know whether he'd had a few too many beers or genuinely felt his behaviour expresses true support for the Albion but either way, if that sounds like any of you on here, do us a favour and don't bother next time.

Seriously, I bet he would never in a million years act like that at home, or even on the street, as thirty seconds of that would be more than enough to get you arrested. And before you ask, yes I did tell him to wind his neck in and grow up.

Is there an award for poster of the year, because you put your heart and soul into every post on this site.

Right at the front in seats 82-87 were a bunch of pissed middle aged men who wouldn't stop shouting Symes' name and shouting racist comments towards Jalal. It's quite shocking really.

I was in one of those seats or somewhere in that area and to be honest i'm not a middle aged man or neither was i pissed, what was the problem with shouting symes's name? Since when did calling out someones name become an offence?
Do you not remember him breaking Casper's nose at withdean, so he deserved some banter, nothing out of line was said to him?
As for the racism that's totally out of order and i don't agree with that.
But what I would like to say is dont bother watching football is you're against swearing and shouting surely!!

Way out west
if you go back to the brighton v b'muff games 72ish it was full scale scrapping in the car park after the game with the girls getting it too,i think we have come a long way since then:moo: so chill:cool:

I would say racist abuse of players suggests that we have gone backwards from those times rather than forwards.

I agree with this. I too was in that area, seat 84 to be exact, and like Barry M, am neither middle aged and neither was I pissed, in fact I never drink at any football match. Yes, I was shouting Simes name because he broke Casper's nose with a "foot in" challenge at the Withers and deserves some stick for it. I take it that you were at that match Cease Ider? As for racist comments to Jalal, that's complete rubbish.

Grow up and get a life son or get some earplugs but please don't come on here spouting such pathetic, dismal drivel and bracketing genuine Albion fans as drunk racists. Nuff said.

Confronting these idiots was always going to be a no win situation. You cant reason with stupidity especially pissed stupidity. It would probably have resulted in me scrapping with these clowns, getting ejected or even worse nicked. These blokes were in there mid 40's, if they havent grown up now then theres f*** all i can say to change there ways.

Then report it to a steward or the police. Next year when we have over 10,000 season ticket holders, you'll only get an away ticket if you are a season ticket holder and you have more to lose if you get done for behaviour at away games. We all want a great atmosphere but the comments referred to in the opening post are racist and against two of our better players!!!!
